Ayodhya Tour: Day-1
1. Saryu River: Bagwan Ram used to take bath with his brothers.
2. Ram-Ki-Pairi
3. Sri Nageshwarnath Temple: This temple is at Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya. The temple of Nageshwarnath is said to have been established by Kush, the son of Rama. Timings : 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM
4. Teen Kalash Mandir (Baba Bhole Nath Temple): Thousands year old temple, it is believed that this temple served as Ashram for the family priest of Lord Ram, Guru Vashishth. It is also believed that Lord Ram with all his brothers took their primary education from here. Timings : 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM
5. Tulsi Uddyan.
6. Chhoti Devkali Temple: Ancient Temple, established by Maa Sita, oldest Maa Durga Temple of Ayodhya. Timings : 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM
7. Raj Sadan Temple/ Thakurdwara: This is the Temple of King of Ayodhya known as Raj Sadan or Thakurdwara. I will go in the same direction and visit “Hanuman Ghadi”. Timings : 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM
8. Hanuman Ghadi: Hanuman Ghadi Temple Timing: 5:00 am - 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
9. Dashrath Mahal: This is the palace of Raja Dashrath; Temple Timing: 5:00 am - 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
10. Kanak Bhavan: It is believed to be the palace of Mata Kaikeyi, Mata Kaikeyi gifted this palace to Mata Sita when Ram married to Sita. Bhog Arti @ 12.00 PM Timing: Morning: 8 am - 11.30 am. Evening: 4.30 pm - 9.30 pm
11. Shri Ram Mandir (Makeshift Temple) Open timing: 07.30 am to 11.30 pm and 04.00 pm to 07.00 pm
12. Amava Temple: Sita Ki Rasoi; Open timing: 07.30 am to 11.30 pm and 04.30 pm to 09.30 pm
13. Sugreeba Qila: 1000 years old temple of Lord Ram’s friend Sugreeb. This ancient fort was built in Tretayuga by Maharaja Bharata to welcome Lord Shri Ram at the time of his return to Ayodhya after conquering Lanka of Lord Shri Ram. After which Lord Shri Ram, the king of Ayodhya, gave this place to Maharaja Sugriva to stay in Ayodhya. Since then this famous place is known as Sugriva Fort. Closed now, You can watch from outside.
14. Shri Ram Janmabhumi Nyas Karyashala: Temple structure, Rocks for temple most of them from Rajasthan. Open timings 8am to 5pm
Ayodhya Tour: Day-2 (Outskirts of Ayodhya)
1. Suraj Kund: 7 KM from Ayodhya, Natural water, Ram’s family used to took bath here and used worship God Sun. People believed this water cure skin disease. You can see Suryanarayan temple, people belived wishes fulfilled if anyone darshan in Sundays.
2. Raja Dashrath Samadhi Sthal: 15 KM from Ayodhya, After Maharaj Dashrath passed away while Ram was in Banbas, Bharat and Strugan creamated Raja Dashrath here. Pinda Daan, Footprint of Ram and his brothers and Guru Vashisht visible here. Two ancient arms seen here. People believed anybody made any daan to Shanidev, Shanidev clears all his/her obstacles. This bardaan was given by Shanidev ji to Maharaj Dashrath. A huge fair organize every year in the time of Shani Amavasya.
3. Nandigram (Bharat Kund): 35 KM from Ayodhya, it is believed that, Bharat kept the sandals of Ram in Ayodhya throne and puja for 14 years here in this place under this banyan tree. The well we see contains holi water of 27 pilgrimages. Bharat abhishek and pujon using this well water.
4. Guptar Ghat: It is believed that, Lord Ram from this ghat went to Baikuntha Dham after finishing his works. Please note that, while travelling to Guptar Ghat only 4 person allowed in Toto as it is defence area.
