On the wild coast of Olympic National Park is found Kalaloch and its wide sandy beaches. Here nature flourishes and wildlife abounds, in tidepools, the lush coastal forests, and off shore in the kelp forests and reefs. Over it all towers the Tree of Life, a giant wind blown tree that miraculously continues to cling to life as it perilously hangs in mid air over a gully. Washington's wilderness coast is truly one of the great natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest
