Great interview, he talks at speed and so makes sense. Goes to also show that schools need to get behind kids like Kaleb who are not quite fitting into the system, could do so much out of the ‘norm’ of the school routine.

Wow! Kaleb, I cannot put into words how impressed I was with you on this video. I am an engineer, nothing to do with farming, but I went to school in a farming area around Carlisle, and a lot of my schoolmates were farmers sons and daughters, already doing a day's work around their school time. This was about 50 years ago, so it was really impressive seeing your evident intelligence, respect, and compassion in this interview. Just remember to take care of you and yours too. All the best.

Kaleb, you are a true f@cking legend!!!! You are real country lad. Fan from Ireland. I can verify that Kaleb hates sheep! He's said it multiple times in interviews but also in advice to Jeremy that of course Jeremy ignored. I know loads of lads that left school early and are the most succesful people in my area and abroad. The 1 size fits all school system is most definitely not for everyone and governments need to understand and more importantly accept this. Each country needs to understand and support their farming community. The alternatice is terrifying.

Kaleb is an amazing young man. It is hard to understand why their local council and local community are trying to undermine Clarkson ‘s efforts to show farming. It has been an eye opener with farming. The costs and challenges that come with farming. The efforts by his partner to grow the shop. Their connection to their live stock. Has been great watch and a learning experience in the farms success and the loses. Hope they are planing more seasons to watch. Their local community needs to get their heads out from where the sun don’t shine and allow the restaurant to re-open.

Gosh but Kaleb reminds me so much of Jamie Oliver when he started - young, knowledgeable, cocky, confident, full of beans and bloody decent blokes! And Kaleb is so right - I've seen perfectly edible cheese from France destined for the bin because it was on it 'best before' date and when you think of all the input all along the way - raising the cow, milking the cow, transporting the milk to the factory, making the cheese, shipping the cheese - and then it's going to the dump because of a stupid bureaucratic date. It makes me so angry. I'm so looking forward to the next series of Clarkson's Farm, can't wait!!

The first two years of my toolmaking apprenticeship was at the Ford Training School in Harrold Hill, Essex UK, but with one week in three at the college. However, I really think I learned more from the people I worked with once I'd moved into the real world, and a good percentage of that was from a guy called Reg who I shared a bench with. I can still remember some of the tips and tricks he showed me, and I still have some of the tools he gave me when he retired.
