Walk into the interior to witness the birth place, where the Shree Ramkrishna temple was constructed on Dheki fibres. The concept and the design elements were mooted by Shilpacharya Nandalal Bose carved on rock chips. The places presents the incarnation of ‘shivalinga’ at the entrance Top displays ‘Garuda Idol’. On the western side one can observe make believe conch shell (Shankha) with lotus on the eastern part. The temple (established on 11th May, 1951) towers over 45 feet with 12 feet width. Inside the temple Shree Ramakrishna has been seated in deep meditation on a white lotus replica and marble white stone so lively and livid as one can conceive. As mementos blocks and souvenirs can be studied during his birth, Dheki, burner and lamps were decked firmly at the altar. The frontal portion of auditorium Natmandir where various shows and function were performed was built during December 1953.
Attached to eastern side of the temple he planted the mango tree himself. Till today the tree yielded fresh mangoes. Lakhs of people come to visit the tree with the fortune of touching it. Protected by Math Management.
Khanpukur and Tantipukur, on the eastern fringe of the Temple date back to Shree Ramakrishna’s time. Khanpukur was used for cleaning up utensils with other household chores of Shree Shree Ma. Once two married and one old women were found busy with conversations. Shree Ramakrishna listened to whatever they conversed having rested in the parlour. He wondered where to go and move. Will they opt for only on wheel, tail and skull.
