Thank you very much for this very valuable research. I had been able to trace my mum's family up to Murata but with this now have more information to further build on the family tree.

There's someone known as Joseph Orwasa Chepkulul in kipkelion. He was mentioned by Tumbalal in one of his songs. I'll inquire if he's from Mogu or related Clan even though Kamogu is unheard of in Kericho at large

Good work but we really need objective minds when dealing with such sensitive tribal history, otherwise nobody wants to be associated with non Kalenjin origins. It has been common knowledge that Kamogo is one of many Sot clans which were assimilated from from other tribes(mostly Kisii) but I see someone's revising history here. There is no harm in being Kisii, all of us here have blood relations with you people through our mothers and grandmothers. Why didn't you mention Kipomwek who actually assimilated Kamogo? They are "ortanyit" and the antelope is their totem. There is alot to be desired in this Terik to Kisii then to Kipsigis narrative...

@@c.rkenya culture and genetics are two different things. Kalenjin culture does not equate to Kalenjin blood, believe me you. No hate intended
