First Lin Yun-Ju and Truls Moregardh got banned for 10 league matches and got a 10.000 dollar fine and then Kanak Jha gets suspended for one year. These young players giving table tennis now some attention 😅

No excuse is good enough. Personal responsibility & accountability. Read the words. Understand the meaning. If you feel you may not understand, find someone in authority to explain it to you. Expect to be banned if you do not comply. You are playing for money at the highest level. What else would you expect?

Guys he gave information on his German address, when he's there from USA and he was at a friend's house during the one hour they went to check on him, they didn't warn him that they're coming. So you're saying he should be banned for one year because he didn't go straight home and stay there every day? He could have been buying groceries, spending extra time at practice etc.
@MrCooperscoopers

@@Lowbroww The visit is not supposed to be pre-warned. And if you watched the video, it said that he provided a phone number without international prefix so the examiner can't call him. So he lives in Germany and has a US phone number and he didn't provide the code 001 in the form. Is he that stupid? How does his friends call him then? Or is that phone number specifically provided for drug testers? You would think that after two times unsuccessful testing visits, he would be more careful on these things. But no, still reckless.

@@MrCooperscoopers you'd think they would use the right country code to call his mobile, after all they're in Germany...obviously. it's normal to provide the number with +49 or with just the 0, it's not his fault they're incapable but actually in the video it also says they're not required to call, so that part is pretty invalid. The point is, how can someone be banned by a doping agency for 1 year without doping. It's ridiculous

@@Lowbroww well, the simple rule is like: a driver who refuses to perform a breath test will face penalties for their refusal that violates the implied consent law in addition to possibly facing driving under the influence (DUI) charges. As I said already, you would think he would have been more careful cuz he is betting on his job/career. Also the examiners did try to call him even they are not required to, which showed their sincerity. So why didn't he provide a correct prefix of his phone in the form? Did he do that intentionally so they can't reach him? We don't know. But at the end of the day, nobody's fault just means it's all his fault.

Maybe he's hiding something. To miss one drug test is one thing but to miss 3 is suspicious. There're no other excuses other than he was trying to avoid being tested.

@@aerotus888 im sorry but I was being sarcastic. This is a terrible idea, why would you ever force all pros to inject themselves with harmful chemicals. You could argue that they are not being forced, and that its just optional, however, any pro who is serious about becoming world ranked would have to use drugs in order to keep up with the competition. Allowing this would get a whole new wave of people hooked on the preforming enhancing capabilities of steroids and just create a terrible environment for everybody.

It does. Table tennis has become increasingly more physical and is all about explosive strength and fast pace maneuverability

@@Kinetic1423 yes the physical is one thing but there are also there are many illegal stimulant drugs such as Adderall that can increase focus and attention, stimulants that boost focus and reduce stress could help immensely with table tennis but have a lot of side effects when an athlete starts taking them in excessive amounts for an advantage and a lot of them are considered performance enhancers and are banned from most sports

The perspective that I've heard is that, more than anything, it helps with recovery after training sessions. Ovtcharov was pulling three training sessions a day - meanwhile, I tried the professional schedule of two a day for a week and my back pretty much wanted to murder me.
