I have just posted a comment for Alex's demo of a Kanile'a KSDLX-B baritone ukulele. In this I mentioned that although the case it came in was excellent, I bought a TGI ABS plastic shell hardcase. If you have a GL6 and want a really bomb-proof case for it, the TGI is perfect for that as well - it just fits in without any wriggle room. I have a GL6-MAG-EQ guitalele and it is superb. I mean REALLY superb. The sustain is astonishing and the sound is both deep and bright at the same time. To some folks, the width of the neck looks odd, but this isn't a guitar or a standard uke. For anyone who wants to know, and as close as I can get with a ruler, at the but the string spacing is 4.2cm and at the bridge it's a smidgin over 6cm. The electro side of things is equally excellent with an EQ covering treble, middle, bass and a fully chromatic tuner with a very clear display screen. In terms of aesthetics - the grain, pattern and book-matching on all sides of the GL6 have to be seen to be believed - quite astonishing.

The Kanile’a wins in my book. I’m sure the longer neck plays a major role. It just has the smoother, fuller, warmer tone to me.

Wow, that is the room I may not ever exit for a week... Totally both G6 but maybe a bit more (tenor size) a KoAloha D6 ~

I have a question concerning the KoAloha D6. Is the nut width 52mm? And is it the length of a Tenor Uke 28"?
