Bret 'had a feeling' Illini would win the game. As a former KState coach he knew he would win over those Jayhawks.

Barry’s play calling SUCKED BALLS!!! I thought Lovie Smith hacked his headset. Let’s keep running up the middle when the O-line can’t run block. Thankfully our DBs won us this game with the extra possessions.

You are NOT wrong. It's one thing to keep the defense and it's another to beat yourself bloody running into a brick wall. Those two three and outs in the third quarter were BRU-TAL. Kansas with some VERY questionable calls as well... not taking a knee and throwing that pick six turned out to be the game. Kansas running at will and averaging gawd knows what and they line up and throw two incompletions and punt the ball. Defense came up with the ball when they had to. It was a fun, wild game. Shout out to all the Jayhawks fans that made it to the game. All the fans in our area were great. Super nice folks and I hope they enjoyed a tight game.

Very good game. I’m obviously very happy for the players, but I’m really happy for Coach B. He needed this victory. I will say that the offensive play calling for most of the game, was terrible. Predictable.🎉🎉🎉🎉

Terrible offense and predictable with a running back who can't see the hole.

Congratulations to Illinois for hanging in there and pulling out win. Jalon Daniels played a terrible game and it appears he's overrated as a potential NFL caliber QB. He missed so many receivers and his 3 picks were own him. KU defense played great. Daniels needs to pick up his game if KU wants to contend for a chance to play for big 12 title game

Kaden Feagin does not see the holes. Just puts his head down and goes. Had a huge hole on third and 3, but he did not see it as his head was down and ran straight into a blocker and defender. The hole was 2 feet to his right and large enough that the tv replay showed the hole and all that could be seen was daylight...literally.

He usually hits the holes. I think it was not his best game and the o-line didn’t play well either. I am still all in on him overall

@joeyjenkot348 hope you are right but I suspect the coaches saw what I saw and put in the freshman rb at crunch time in the 4th quarter.

I was there and I agree with you. Still a young dawg and obviously has the physical skills, but needs to be coached up and watch tape. Just hope he stays healthy. Love to see the young kid Valentine ball out. A good RB dynamic going forward. Homecoming next weekend already! GO ILLINI!!!
