It needs to be a generational development, you do not get to jump from being a "Project Nigga" to a successful businessman. You need a development from family members, their involvement in your progress and life. That is the only way to be better. Role models do not improve you if they are from a TV or a book. Writer of the Wire has amazing books about the decline of the "Projects". He wrote about how much the drug epidemic destroyed the black community and black families, especially the mothers in the families.
