Regardless of the Jordan worship, no rules were put in place to stop or slow down MJ. Only make things easier for him to dominate (banning Detroit flagrant fouls, allowing liberal hand checks by MJ on defense, etc.) Kareem, Wilt, Russel had rules changed to PREVENT them from domination. Facts no human being has accomplished more individual accomplishments (unbeatable in high school, NCAA, and much of his pro career). Kareem 6 MVPs in a 10 year span and would be #1 in blocks by a large margin over Hakeem if blocks were tallied his first 4 years officially. Definitely one of the greatest if not greatest ever, debatable. What isn't debatable is he was far more dominant than any player on 3 levels (with the exception of maybe Wilt who dominated more in the pros). And for team dominance Russell is easily the GOAT (11 titles in 13 years with 1 7 Game series loss to the Hawks in which Russell missed a few games with injuries and the Hawks still barely won by a basket or two which I don't even count since Russell was MVP. That is like the Bulls losing to the Jazz with MJ out. Would it even count legacy wise for Utah?).
