Thankyou for this. My wife has it. Cane home from work and she dropped on the floor. Had to shock her heart and reset it. Long story short she has been diagnosed with this and has a ICD defibrilator inplanted. Since having it she is well but due to betablockers and how life is now she cant handle to much anymore. She used to be a professional cyclist

I was in the same exact position and I am still frustrated that I am not able to do high impact exercise like I did when I was competing in sports. Thank you your story is very similar to mine. I have no plumbing issues with my heart it u it s all electrical. Thank you again for the story

I had my ablation a few years ago. I have been shocked 30 times total. Not fun it’s like an earthquake going off in your body. It happens so fast when defribillator goes off so it’s the PTSD kicks in what was I doing when it went off etc.

I have ARVD and it can be a genetic thing too besides sporty people getting it. My brother had it and he died and my sister and I both have it too

How do you manage symptoms? Can the all symptoms of it be reversed?

@@vibeswithayantika9513 no it’s not reversible. I take medication and have a dual pacemaker and defibrillator

It really sucks because we do take care of our bodies better than most and we still get this stupid condition
