You may be Latin, Asian, African, Australian, you might be a strange creature from Greenland or from the bottom of the ocean. I am with you. It is the only way to overcome dictatorships.

Hate takes so much effort and energy , loving is much easier and productive. A world where everyone loves one another and sees that no one goes without the basic needs of human survival. We have the ability and means to get there , if only we can summon up the will.

Where have I been these past five years? How did I not know about him until today? I discovered him while going through Apollo’s Fire discography in Spotify. I listened to his “Songs Of Orpheus” and loved it. Then I listened to “Where Only Stars Can Hear Us” and loved it even though I’m not very find of German Lieder. And this video, it is emotional visually and musically and I love that, too. Thank you, Karim, for the beauty that you are giving our world.

Wow, this brought up huge tears. Just think how fractured we are in America,,,It was torture to see people start to walk by this brave man without even stopping, then the crowd grew and more of my tears spilled. I'm saying to myself, "Please, someone take his hand, hug him...." Imagine how scared the Muslims are who are decent people, just trying to eek out a living in America, knowing at anytime, they'll hear a vicious comment, be hit, spit upon or worse. This certainly brought the real world into perspective. Love can conquer all.

Sweet little video...but...how would that have looked in Iran, or any other Arab nation?...with an American holding the same sign and blindfolded?....just curious. Do you think he would have been hugged....or stoned?
@ExarKun543
7 жыл бұрын
Maybe we need to give the people of Iran more credit then that. I have had the opportunity to speak with a few Iranians and they have all been people much like those here. There are examples of good and bad behavior, but they don't respond to the sight of an American by stoning them instantly any more than we would react that way to them. Unless you step into a riot I would expect anyone who puts forward a message of peace such as this to be received well. Also, It is important to note that Iran is not an Arab nation, but rather majority Persian with Azeri, Armenian, Kurdish, Arab, and other groups as regional minorities.
