That game was unforgettable and thrilling. Malone and Carr in the last quarter made the way to win.

"We won tonight as a team. Not as Karl Malone, as a team." I hope today's NBA superstars are watching and listening to this.

You guys smoking crack if you think that bum Gordon Hayward is as good as Jeff Hornacek. Hayward has been a tentative sacred overpaid bum on the Celtics ever since after his leg injury while the Jazz got better with a real star with Donovan Mitchell. Hornacek was at one point the best scorers on that 1992 Pheonix Suns team besides KJ and he was used in the trade package for the Suns to acquire Charles Barkley on that 1993 Suns team. Hornacek was also a decent 3rd scoring option on those 1997-1998 Utah Jazz finals teams.

Great game he had. And game 6 he had 31-11-7. Another great game. Just so Stockton finish with 10 pts and 5 miserable assists in crucial game 6 in 98 Finals

Malone had come under some pretty heavy criticism by this point for not coming through in the clutch in the 1997 Finals and for having an awful series up to this point in 1998. This game, and his 31 in a losing cause the next game, were sort of reputation-savers for him. MJ would even allude to it in his postgame comments after this game, talking about all the criticism Malone had been getting.

The refs screwed the Jazz in Game 6. Eisley's 3 should have counted! Too bad they didn't have the replay like they do now

And they screwed the bulls on the Ron Harper shot which was clearly within the 24 second shot clock time but they waved it off.................. so what''s your point.......

@BigTimePride - With all do respect they did play the greatest team in NBA History. Put Pippen on Utah who is the best defensive player ever and Utah wins Championships or more!!!

no disrespect AT ALL but the 1992 blazers didn't play the bulls as well as the 1998 jazz and the 1998 jazz didn't play the bulls as well in the finals as the 1996 sonics did despite gary payton not being as elite as superstars clyde drexler john stockton and karl malone

@AxonMoses - He might of missed a lot of games but he locked up John Stockton in the NBA finals and that is the only reason why the bulls won. He didn't look hurt at all guarding Stockton and Utah was un able to run there offense because Pippen clamped him!!!! Go re watch the finals like I did before making such statements!!! Thank-you!
