Every skate tourney I've ever been to we always cheer each other on but mostly are there to have fun and see how far we can push ourselves. Skateboarders are people who put 10 hours of blood sweat and tears in a single day just TRYING to land a single trick, we spend thousands of hours just trying to perfect a single trick and to do that you have to love pushing yourself to new limits and most of all enjoy skateboarding. Throw a bunch of people like that together (while skateboarding) and they will have a great time.

And the way things seem to be devolving here in the western world I honestly wouldn’t mind fucking bailing on America and seeing if my Grandma wouldn’t mind me joining her back in Kagoshima since she returned…I’m trying to live in a high trust homogenous society that hasn’t been infected with the modern western liberal BULLSHIT

I’ve been skating for 22 years and this is one of the sickest things I’ve seen. Wish they had it in the 00s You need to fly out pros from skate teams in the US and Europe. And keep some of these dudes as regulars.

they shouldn't do it w great, popular skaters imo, keep the bars lower, otherwise it's gonna wind up like wrestling with heels and fake drama bc most great skaters aren't actually very cool, they just like money, it would influence the spirit of this show in a negative way. The cultures are not that compatible, this is fun, don't bring sweaty try hard competitiors into it, some of them are even complete douchebags irl like shaun white.

@@penguinjay You could definitely be right in some cases, I don't follow this stuff much just randomly saw this video. But what a stupid response you gave to say most great skaters aren't cool and only in it for money... If they are the greatest skaters, then they are because they practiced to be haha? What an absolute moron.

making the competitor regular is not different with korean variety show, which is not interesting at all. there's a lot talented youngster out there who can compete in this competition.

This is awesome. I haven’t skated with my friends in almost 10 years now, but this captures the vibe perfectly. All hyping each other up and pushing ourselves out of the comfort zone. We need more of this

most videos from this channel got an average1k - 2k views, the most they got before this was 10k but this one got 2M! i hope this incentivizes them to make more with english subtitles because it clear to see the western audience loves this! p.s. the Japanese captions when people speak helps people trying to learn Japanese get familiar with how words are pronounced naturally and this is certainly an exciting way to learn it. 英語のキャプションをありがとう

I agree! Don't do dub. This is the first time I actually started understanding what was being said by tone. No more long winded conversations that are dubbed in English where you cant even hear the Japanese. The quick sentences in this game show help so much.
