This is the thing that annoys me about us humans and social media.... You look at someone doing such an incredible job at a Kata.....forget that nobody is perfect and all the other factors that were in play in those moments for her personally that we have no idea about and you criticize the mistakes and point out all the negatives..... why not just focus on how impressive she was with focus, speed, technique etc throughout this difficult Kata. Social media feeds this narcissistic culture of making yourself feel good by pointing out other peoples failings. As with all different martial arts, every different style and type have there good & bad points.. just as every practitioner is at a different stages in their journey and the quality or their techniques etc in a specific moment can be massively effected by 100's of different outside influences. eg: one person training in Tai Kwondo might beat someone in a fight who does Karate.......Does that make Tai Kwondo better?????? of course not..... all that proves is that, in that one moment of time with all the different factors, the Tai Kwondo person was successful. The same two people could fight again and go the other way....... Just as this lady performing her Kata could do this again and make completely different mistakes ..... or no mistakes... Stop judging and get rid of your egotistical comments and focus on constructive comments that will help all of us improve and become better at our different Martial Arts.

There really is no reason to say this. When someone makes a good balance beam routine do you say "well a boxer could knock them out"... no, you don't. These sport katas are not for combat, no one thinks these people are great fighters. They are more likely to be above average fighters than not, but that isn't the point. She is certainly in great shape, with great balance, and able to do moves that I am fairly sure you will never be able to mimic.
