Hi, I'm from Brazil, so Jambu is found in the North of the country, so people eat it with fish. They use it for cooking other types of food too..people speak about it, to use for teeth, stomach, and skin... but I'm originally from the South of Brazil, so I never had it... so I guess it's known everywhere in Brazil. Still, depending on where you live, it is not that easy to find (especially because Brazil is huge, and the weather conditions in the North are different than other regions). You are pronouncing it right, no worries haha There is a brand called Natura, that is very famous in Brazil and they make products with some plants and things from the Amazon, but I don't know if the creams are good or not (they have products with Jambu).. I buy only soap from them... but it's a huge company... I currently live in NYC and there is a Natura store in Soho, but it's too expensive for what it is I think... So in Brazil, besides Natura or other small brands, I just know about Jambu being good for the skin because of my grandma commenting it.. the same way she says that Aloe Vera (Babosa) is good, when she was young, she used to use only the actual plants and not creams etc Hope it helped :)

Hi Dray!🤩 Here in Germany, this product is not well known. I could see, several advertisings for it on Facebook and on Instagram but I don’t know anybody using it 🤷🏻♀️ As to the claim …” it’s a serum for a very demanding facial skin”😂 It’s just a bad translation of the German term “ für sehr anspruchsvolle Haut“ This Is used in the beauty industry actually for “mature skin” ( anspruchsvoll = demanding but in a different context). It is a more elegant way do describe that your skin has more needs therefore “more demanding”😂 but it is an usual term avoiding to say that your skin is mature now. 😉 Just a misleading translation 😂 Regards from Germany

You can eat Jambu like you do an apple. It has a sort of fuzzy "shell" around a hard pit and the bottom of the fruit is concave into itself with four "petals". It varies from being honey sweet to slightly tangy. It is really light and juicy to bite into and the flesh is crunchy, but very light. You can cut it up into wedges and eat it with dry Assam powder or a fermented shrimp paste. It is a very versatile fruit as with most Asian equator fruit.

Kate would almost never talk about what products she uses, let alone skincare products. One time she went to a function, and they offered her almond milk with her tea because the media told everyone she drinks almond milk, and she told them (nicely) not to believe everything they read, and that she didn't even like almond milk. She probably doesn't even use this product. The media does this all the time. A few years ago they went crazy about how she supposedly used reship oil. She probably didn't use that, either. She obviously gets filler, though. She has really prominent wrinkles on her forehead that will disappear for a few months, and then they'll come back for a while, and then they'll disappear for a few months again. It's just filler. I’ve stopped using it,…,,I’ve scaled my skincare right back to the minimum I’ve wasted so much money, buying stuff that I didn’t really need, But at the time I was new to skincare routine. I took a photo of the first day I started a regular skincare routine Then monthly……and I’ve had better results not using loads Of stuff. I have mature skin 😊

@cglove94 I live in Vegas and I have the same problem. The thing is hyaluronic acid is in everything! Can't get away from it if one wants to do skin care. If I use it I spray with a water mist after, then use moisturizer on top to lock in the moisture.

Some people aren't going to be able to tolerate it. Go See Christy did a video on how to use it if you live in dry climates a few years ago. Dr Dray has a video on moisturizers without HA. Some other humectants that are recommended are glycerin, beta glucan, urea, polyglutamic acid, snow mushroom, sodium pca, allantoin, amongst others.

Jambu is really famous in the north of Brazil. The population actually eats it with potatoes and meat. It tangles a lot and leaves your lips a lil plump but it's crazy strong and I don't trust my brazilian face on Jambu effects, it's almost our kale.

Ok the fruit comes from a tree. In Guatemala we call it Manzana rosa or Apple rose also known in other countries as java apple, not to be confused by the rose apple that is yellow and smells perfumy which we call Poma Rosa. But it is different from the little flower tho.

She looks a bit older than her age imo. Not terrible, but she definitely has spent a lot of time in the sun. There are many pics of her sunbathing and it is known she frequents the island of Mustique. She also grew up in the 90s and early 2000s when tanning was all the rage.

@@emallace447 we are so used of women looking at 50 as 30 with plastic sugery we forget how women that use only creams look. Plus she does cosmetic procedures, her skin is perfect, just has wrinkles.

The red fruit is also found in Central America, it’s like a softer sweeter apple. I have only eaten it, maybe I should have put it on my skin :)

Happy Tuesday Dr. Dray and everyone . Another informative video . Many times celebrities and those in the public eye will get other skin treatments like peels , facials , mircoderm abrasions which probably are responsible for results than any other lotions and potions . Have a wonderful day . Love to mom and Tybee xoxoxoxo

I’m from Germany and never heard of it either. Just checked the reviews on Amazon and Douglas, tons of people say that it has no effect at all besides making the skin dry. There are also people who praise it, but to be honest these reviews to me look fake.

Hi Andrea. In a video you posted recently you were driving. I noticed your head rest was way too high. The middle of it should be at your ear, as far I have learned. Want you safe. I really like the derma e eye patches BUT have issues with applying...separating them and where should they be placed? Can u demo?

I’m from Brazil and growing up my grandma would give me the leafs of jambu to chew whenever I had a throat infection or mouth ulcers once the leafs do make your mouth tingle and helps with the pain. I know the fruit it’s also used in north Brazil to cook but I never heard anyone saying anything about helping with fine lines or wrinkles…
