This remains one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I’m no musician, nor poet. Yet in my humble mind, this seemingly simple song is philosophically profound in asking the sober question and dichotomy of, “… what is (reality) versus make- believe.”

Wow... that was some performance, the sound of her soft voice is incredible. Music of this caliber is hard to find nowadays we have marketing experts creating music products and instant celebrities. this girl is miles above all that crap with her poetic music. Thanks for sharing this with the world.. in the country where I live, the only way to see artists like Katell is here. I am still amazed...

Anton: Although she's Irish (Killarney) I always get the feeling of South Africa during the struggle against apartheid and white rule. Especially the death of Stephen Biko in custody. "To bring you back to us." Of course, the Irish struggled. The distance, the gap, the GULF." Maybe there can be a Truth & Reconciliation.

What?? From wikipedia: Araby comprises the fictional or romanticised traditional counterpart to Arabia or to the Arab world. In the context of Edward Said's view of Orientalism, Araby exemplifies the exotic and mysterious nature of the Middle East.
