This is like a time machine to me, it transports me back to when I used to play around here in the summer holidays with me mates all on our old bikes. Six weeks seems like six months when your ten or eleven, and I'm sure being England, it did rain but all I can remember are long sweltering hot summer days. Out all day and then back home thirty seconds before the grounding deadline, cheese on toast, Ovaltine and bed. Rinse and repeat. Lovely music that perfectly fits the visuals. Dreamy ❤

This piece is testimony to a true artist and musician. Some of the choices Katie makes with this work are utterly brave, furthermore, Katie performs the entire length of music solo, with one guitar, turning brave into bold.

What a brilliant fusion of music and images. Each absolutely spellbinding. The music has been conjured into existence, beautifully weaving through the footage as if it was always meant to be there. An extraordinary piece of work which held me rapt throughout. Katie, I don't know how you do it but thank all that is good in the world that you do.

I agree entirely. As a historical footnote, Stirling Ash was a supply ship which serviced the rigs in the Brent Oil Field. She was built in 1976 by Beverley Shipbuilding and Engineering. The shipyard at Grove Hill in Beverley opened in 1901 and by 1963 had produced over 1300 ships , mainly trawlers, tugs and minesweepers. It went into receivership in May 1977.

@@petercowley2264 Thank you for the historical context, Peter. What amazing stories must have woven through the lives of the families that lived through those times. My grandfather was a worker at Swan Hunter on the Tyne and I have a vivid memory of going to a launch as a small child and being in awe of this incredible behemoth that the men had painstakingly constructed, and the endless rows of terraced streets sloping down towards the shipyard, clearly occupied by the workers whose whole world was encapsulated by this process. I remain in awe of what they accomplished.

Love the music as always. I don't come from there, so don't have the connection with the workers, etc.; I'm thinking that just a nature video would have been better with this beautiful music, but I know that you know best and I'm glad you're still putting out new music. Thank you for this, it is really beautiful. (from Sandi)

Frank, Katie loves Hull, and although I live in Ireland I've been there many times. It's a wonderfully unique city -and this video encapsulates it perfectly....
