I really enjoyed it. After watching the first compilation video on the channel I was like why does something like this even exists, but now I see it has a lot of potential. It was really good!

I love your cantanary work... that is never easy, epecially in N scale! Beautiful trains, I wish we had some like in in North America(although the latest VIA trainsets look awesome!)...

Kato introduced a new, smoother starting engine that the Lyria benefited from. The pantographs are also well made (the Ouigo didn't have them, but I think you can change them via the KATO parts bank) As for the rest, it's KATO, it's well done, it's clean, the colors are right and the height of happiness, the interior with the seats is present. The next new model will surely be the TGV M.

2 things that always put me off Kato's TGVs - the gap between the power car and the first coach - and the lack of smoked glazing, which gives the coaches a bit of a 'hollow' look. I guess it would be possible to dismantle the coaches and spray them on the inside with smoked-glazing spray (which I've done successfully with a Mehano HO (obvs) OUIGO - improves the look no end). Not sure if it would be possible to fit a close-coupler between power car and coach without major surgery... call me picky but these things kinda bug me :) PS Your catenary is amazing! I wish I had that kind of skillset!

In the start ot the video you can clearly see the difference in hight between the TGV and a normal 2 story train that is the only reason why they can use a two story train at all. The TGV does fit just barely underneath the bridge after Basel SBB. SBB realy has to upgrade the line to Saint-Louis and send the TER train’s to the main hall in Basel SBB. Today you have to walk about 500m from the old SNCF hall to the SBB hall. DB Regio gets the same treatment on the other side of the station 😢. This thing is happening in many other SBB station’s it’s very sad how SBB treat’s other railway’s.
