So Dan and I arrived in Kawaguchiko, a small town to the northish of Mt. Fuji, and checked into our little Japanese hotel. We wandered around and had some ramen, but other than that not much was done.
There was a pagoda-like structure out on the lake so Dan and I decided to go check it out. There was a lot of people there, but even now I'm still not sure what it was. I have yet to use my Google-fu to figure out what it is either. A lot of people were there checking it out so it must be something interesting. There was a plaque inside that read, "Nam myoho renge kyo" which is a Buddhist mantra/prayer.
After that we began to head back to our hotel room. We picked some food up from the convenience store and shortly after we went to a hotspring in the area since we had some coupons from our hotel.
