Hey guys! that's my stage piano, the KAWAI MP7se. To give you an idea how good it is, I returned my Roland RD2000 to Sweetwater. The MP7se is superb friendly to use, and the sort of sounds is amazing. It is Built to last. Acoustic pianos are extremely elaborated, even better than the Yamaha CP4 (I own one) and compared them side to side. It is not well marketed as in Europe, maybe that's why it's not very popular. Check the KAWAI Virtual Tecnician IOS app. Take a look to the volume slider in the video; A friendly notice: If you want the best noise to ratio sound, push the volume slider all the way up!!

Totally agree..., even i prefer my classic MP7 over the new SE version, and of course over the RD-2000 and CP-4 too... Enjoy it a lot!...

Hello Sash, my apologies for my delay answering your question. Rhodes, Wurlitzers and clavs are very faithful, playable and useful for any oriented music style. As a music arranger and orchestrator, I would say that the Strings are high quality and adequate, although a little limited in variation, but enough to satisfy your need when it comes to layer with pianos, and other ensembles.

@Davin Carrillo : Hello Mr. Carrilo. Well, I played both of them and their sound quality is identical. Now, if you are musician oriented to a studio, or big shows, or a church worship, the MP7se is your must since it provides top MIDI implementation and essential sounds for any of those scenarios. On the other hand if you are a piano teacher, or a solo performer for small venues like a restaurant (one man band), or if you just want to play piano at home, then the ES8 might be the right choice for you. Either way you can't go wrong! Enjoy it!

Hi guys! Can anybody advise me after using the KAWAI mp7 for awhile whether it is a good option for me to order this one or not. I have mixed feelings since i noticed many comments from people complaining about key flaws. This is makes me to become more hesitant, but i appreciate the sounds and the action though based on people testimonies. thank you for advising

Juste Matene i'm owner of a mp7 and i have issues with the key sensor :( i think i must clean it up and that's what u do if u have some hours to spend removing carefully the rubber thingies which have the sensors.. i don't really know but i'm pretty sure it's the same mechanism and you may or may not have the "luck" that i have with the key sensors...i'm pretty dissapointed about this issue..i think i may buy a motif xf8 ori a kurzweil since i use it for clasical music study..

Hi Cyb3rAssasine, could you share with us your experience and tell us that differences with more details please?,... i.e faster keys, better trills, more responsive touch, better finger to sound connecction, better balance and control over dynamics. Are you tried the Roland PHA-50 too?. Tell us your preference between Kawai, Yamaha and Roland. Thanks!...

@@dynoroad Thanks but I read somewhere that people tend to spend much more on keyboards and much less to make them sound and that that is a mistake. So I don't dare to buy before trying but unfortunately I haven't found a shop where you can do that (they only let you try with headphones). Thanks for your interest though.

@@josemiguelcarrizo7373 That's a good point, I didn't want to sway you to any expensive options since I don't know what you do for a living. Getting good sound out of your keyboard, especially outside of headphones, costs at least half as much as the keyboard itself. Even good headphones will set you back a considerable lot. I have this particular stage piano (MP7SE) and my headphones don't do it justice, so I'll be looking to upgrade that in the future.
