Hi @pete3204 , do you know how is the orange paint called or the formula for it? I like it so much I would like to use it on my own bike.

And also how you carbs hold? I got ride of the air box like you and they move too much. thank u very much cheers, very nice project btw

i shortened the original mudguard and bolted it on .no welding ! used the original wiring for the new rear light.. the carbs are fine no movement !! remember this is csr model , not z 650 . but still very similar. it was usa only i think !! thanks pete

Love the size of the workshop, what I wouldn't give to have a work shop that size. first class job Sir.. How did the wheel paint turn out like, no problems, the wheel rims on my project are the bane of my life at the moment, did you strip to metal or make good and spray on top?
@pete3204
10 жыл бұрын
thanks friend, yes i,m blessed with a huge workshop :) the wheels i flatted off and painted with roll bar and chassis paint see vid at 8.06. you have to really get a good rub so as to key the paint in, and no power washing later, not an easy job i did the front wheel twice. best to remove any old paints and have a clean surface to paint over. cheers pete
