A look and some opinion on my 2006 low mileage Kawasaki ZX1400, is this the best Hyperbike for under 5 grand ? . thanks for watching and hit subscribe .
Fabulous review, stunning bike, I bought the zzr1400 last year before they withdrawn the bike, due to the EU emissions it is the best bike I've ever had, defo a keeper..

What a thoroughly refreshing, No Bullshit review. I'm in the process of buying one of the last remaining 2020 models left in the country, I also previously owned a Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport. It just didn't inspire me with confidence, and was beginning to show signs of rust although only three years old with under 4,000 miles on the clock. I traded it for a 2010 Yamaha FZ1-S Custom, which doesn't have all the electronic bells and whistles but it is so much more fun. However it's not a bike for doing two up touring, hence the investment in the last of an iconic breed. Hope you have many safe, thrilling rides just as I plan to do with mine.

I am in South Africa and I own a 2007 ZX14 (in the UK: ZZR1400). My bike has no extra electronics, including no ASB. I believe that, for ME, this is the best bike on the road. It has the presence, it has the excitement, it has the control and, most of all, it calls for a rider (rather than dictate to the rider what to do). It is not a beginners' bike. My bike is all the bike I need. I admit that I am not a rider who will be able to ride my bike to its full capabilities. I do not send this message recommending anyone to a ZX14, or Kawasaki, or anything else. But this is my bike. There may be "better" bikes, but I will stand by my bike. This bike is very heavy, heavy on tyres, heavy on fuel, but it is my bike and I can't see myself ever on any other bike. I have ridden this bike on all conditions of tarmac, in all weathers and in all traffic. I have ridden my bike for days at a time. It delivers each time. I am confident on this bike. I am a biker and my kit suits my lifestyle. I respect anyone else who has the same bond with their bike. For the record - I do the zip thing, each trip.

I had a blackbird, which I loved but sold to buy a speed triple. I loved the triumph for its comfort and decent performance, but a hit and run left me in the road with my ribs bust out sideways, and a damaged spine. It was another bike that hit me side on at speed. He road off as I was groaning on the floor. It’s more than 4 years since my crash and I want to get another bike now. Possibly one of these or the vfr1200. I’m thinking about putting a big fucking cage around me though. Anyhow, a great review mate, and it won’t be long before we start looking at Susan Boyle thinking, I wonder if she’s lost weight or had her hair done. Best wishes from another scouser.

Thanks for the review. I don't agree that a lot of the new models are all hype. Cruise control, quick shifters, hill-start assists....these are useful things, and it's really nice to have them all on a bike. But in a way, all of that useful technology makes these classic bikes even more special because they highlight how raw and paired down these bikes are. It's lovely to ride the new things but when you get on one of these, they re-unite you with that old-school biking experience. In short, I think the answer for me is to have both!

Just got my zx14 special edition. Came with all the "upgrades" that anybody could really want. Extremally well taken care off. Now just to survive the winter before I can get on her. Only good thing is it sits at work so I get to see her more than if it was sitting at home in the cold. Is it spring yet? damn

I actually saw a 2013 bike go for 5k on Facebook. But yes I think prices are creeping up now due to it being discontinued and the H2 doing well .
