Eight Kawesqar live in Puerto Eden who still speak their language. They are the last descendants of a mythical people who domesticated the winds, the eternal rain and the cold to live for thousands of years in western Patagonia in a close and indissoluble relationship with the sea. They were and continue to be in the documentary "the travelers of the sea". We saw Don Pancho Arrollo build a canoe from the trunk of a tree and we accompanied him together with Gabriela Paterito, his children and Raúl Edén in a navigation that took them to their childhood, to their grandparent's camps, to rebuild their dome house and to distant ancestral territories.
They participated in the journey and the reflection on their past and present:
Francisco Arrollo, Gabriela Paterito, Raúl Edén, José Tonko, Juan Carlos Tonko, Oscar Aguilera and Eugenio Aspillaga.
