I'm glad someone is finally calling out the terrible ownership/management situation at the Houston Dash. Playing there must be a total nightmare. Can't the league step in and force some of the needed changes?

It has been clear from some time now that this year trophy is an affair between Orlando and Kansas City. At some point there were a couple teams (Spirit, Gotham, North Carolina) that made a run for it but how come short due to injuries, lack of chemistry or defenses mistakes.

I would love to disagree. The Spirit are a real contender even without Croix Bethune. This team is so well rounded its scary. KC lacks the D. North Carolina is coming on real strong, and I would never rule Gotham out, they've got the D and the offense.

To attach a women team to an MLS team is a mistake; in that structure they always are going to be second place dish for reason I am not mentioning right now. The NWSL should be completely independent of MLS. Imagine try to feed the same food to your sons: one is 3-year-old and the other is 21!!! Liga MX femenil's teams are attached to their men team organizations (for them make the whole sense of the world) because the dynamic and soccer culture are different there. 1- NWSL and MLS are competing for market: soccer fans and grounds. 2- Liga MX femenil and the man's liga doesn't compete: the fan adopted, accepted and bestowed on their women teams the tradition, the colors, the crest of their counterparts. They see them as an extension of their men teams. 3- In Mexico the women were never going to have the economic power to have a league of their own; It make seems disparage on the surface but deep down the women and men leagues are attached like siblings: eat from their own plate, but in the same table, same food, same house. 4- Let me give you an example, if America and Chivas are rivals to death in the men, the women are too, and they have to live to it. ...That's how it is there, and the women there have benefited greatly from that arrangement, and they are fighting hard to be on par with their siblings which is no easy task. The NWSL experience is completely different: you may be dancing the same song at the same party with your friends, but they are distinct from you and each of you live at their own houses.
