I'm glad almost everyone agrees that he deserved to win this competition, especially against certain people who cheat their jumps and basically jump two 4S in SP.

He didn’t basically jump two 4S, he DID jump two 4S! His “4T” takeoff was with his full blade, not the toe pick, so it’s technically a 4S and should’ve been judged as one.

Best Choreo Sequence of the season, no question! I just love the speed and how well it matches the music. Speaking of the music, I love the timing of the spins as well! I hope Kazuki will skate clean at Nats; I would love to see him at the Olympics (even though Yuzuru, Soma, Yuma and Shun will be so difficult to beat for the spot).

Yes, very musical program. It's what's called skating TO music not through music

One of the best FP we have this seasons in men's. The step sequence is supereb. He was definitely underscored. I wish Japan would support him more (currently they are only pushing Yuma).

I would give that choreo sequence at the end +5, what joy!! He had this competition in the bag, just too many little errors.

The judges have committed a robbery of Kazuki’s gold medal. Well, how un-surprising it is given the historical underscoring track record of ISU on Kazuki. 🙂

Too bad he didn’t skate cleanly, but it’s a great program. Not a fan of the music/song though.

That's because for the mistakes he made, he rightfully got points deducted for it. However, for the things he excelled in like interpretation and performance, he wasn't fairly awarded, especially when compared to his competitors. His PCS is where most underscoring arguments are coming from, not his technical scores.
