Loved watching the Soul Train show & this song by KC & the Sunshine Band (still have album). That’s how we expressed ourselves, miss dancing at the disco and all the friends made on the dance floor ♥️, still dancing to this day its a great form of exercise! 🎉

We saw KC and the Sunshine Band back about 25 or years ago at a casino venue. We had a absolute blast !!! There's was nobody sitting !! Everybody was up and dancing and singing !! People so happy and forgetting their troubles. For a couple of hours, we were all teenagers back in the 70's !!!

I never like it when other music than the original is placed under the Soul Train Line routine. But... watch at 0:42, and look what Jeffrey Daniel does. Man, that's outstanding! Jeffrey and Shabba-Doo were my favourite male dancers at Soul Train. Those two always stood out from the rest. :-)

I sure do remember those days. Grew up in the 60s and Danced in the 70s. Those were the days when America was still a free Country and people weren't robbing and killing people. Drunk Driving was at .14 not .08 which is cut in half from what it used to be. And no Homeless people either because it wasn't allowed. Crime just didn't go on like today's rate of crime. I sure miss those days.
