3D printer filament is hydroscopic, meaning that it will absorb moisture from the air. "Wet" filament can ruin your prints and lead to all kinds of problems! 😱
Here's how I built a single-spool dry box to help keep the filament dry even during printing! 👌
The container I used is sold as a pair (see links below), and I purchased a larger quantity of silica than I needed for this one project, but overall it cost me around $15 to make each dry box.
