In the 70's and 80's there was a show on Radio 2 on Sunday evenings called 'Sing Something Simple'. The Cliff Adams Singers used to do 30 minute medley of popular songs in an ultra laid back style. In 1982 they did their version of the Birmingham City anthem 'Keep Right On Till The End Of The Road', which was originally a Scottish song, by Harry Lauder, and was introduced to Birmingham City by a Scottish player, Alex Govan, during the teams 1956 FA Cup run, they reached the final, losing 3-1 to Manchester City, Its been sung by Birmingham City supporters ever since!
