Quick, easy, effective. You just allowed me to not look like a fool in front of my classmates, and get a 100% grade on it. kudos!!!

Hi Russell thanks really useful , but I'm struggling on how to fade something back in that I had previously faded out ( heading), so I selected the text box again and appeared at the bottom used all same steps but when it comes to the relevant part it doesn't fade it back in ?

Thanks for the quick and easy tut! What's the trick to getting the slide to advance to the next slide for click at the last active bullet? When the last bullet is "active" or highlighted, a click makes it "dim" (change color per the animation), then another click is required to advance to the next slide.

If you open the animations pane, you can control what happens on particular actions. Like for instance not waiting for a mouse click to advance to the next slide.

Thank you for the tip. It works very well in the ppt app, but when I go to the online portal to open ppt, it doesn't work. Is there a way to correct this?

No problem. It maybe that this feature isn't available in the online version of PPT.

Hi Russel. Firstly, thank you for the awesome tip! It is the 1st time I am making a PP presentation. I managed to do what you teach, but at the end however, I‘d like to have all the bullet points appear together in black (I have a black text in white background), but they appear in the end all together in grey. How could I change this?

No problem. Easiest way is to duplicate the slide and then in the duplicated version of the slide, remove all of the animations and set the text to black. Providing you don't move any of the on page elements around, it should achieve the desired effect. Maybe there's a more elegant solution, but without trying it myself, I don't know.
