I worked half my working life working on my own. On sites it was Easy, and I preferred it ...... When I later started doing 'private' work it was far better to have a labourer for the cleaning up, setting up and climbing the stairs with the muck 🙂 .... ALSO! - The laying down and collecting up the dust-sheets is a real Back-Breaker! ....... MUSIC!! .... I've walked OFF jobs where anyone (Rarely) complained about the Music .... It HAS to be DONE!! ........

Great video. It’s like the gym, if I’m filming a heavy set of squats for example I’ll always do get a rep or two extra that I wouldn’t get usually. Prolly could but because of the placebo effect i wouldn’t. Same with plastering, on my work page I’ve filmed myself and I find I’m so much quicker and efficient

You hit the nail on the head with this one mate👍🏻 everything you said here is exactly what I say when a customer asks have I not got a labourer! Although I have just taken a lad on who's very keen and works at Wickes 2 days a week (has done an intensive plastering course) so I can prioritize jobs that I need a hand on for the 3 days of the week and have 2 days on my own! I've found that having someone there now and then gives you that boost to get back into gear when you lack motivation! We've all been there👎🏻 great video mate keep them coming

Great video. One thing I'd add, don't undersell yourself. If you put in a cheap quote, you may end up resenting the work and doing a substandard job. It's counterproductive in the end.
