The Greek Orthodox Folk Dance Festival (FDF) has been an annual event in the western United States since 1976. Some 2,000 young people perform traditional Greek village dances and sing songs, accompanied by music played by musicians from Greece. Expert folk dancers and musicians from Greece and around the world come to teach and to judge the competition. The story, told by participants, directors, dance judges, and priests, includes new and vintage clips of the event.
