Yet another superb version from Keith at the Carnegie Hall on January 29, 2009. I've transcribed this and if interested my email address is flat13sharp11@gmail.com
I don't think anyone has so inhabited this song since Judy in 1939. 70 years it's been; thank you Keith, for understanding.

+Tim Wood I was at this concert too. Maybe you were the guy sitting next to me recording? Lucky KJ didn't see you recording that night!

This is a different version than his 1984 Tokyo version. He's using right hand octaves here, with the same harmonic left hand voicings from 1984. These right hand octaves sound like a player piano, NOT the characteristic Keith polished piano sound. Any pianist who plays this tune well will please an audience. "Over the Rainbow" is listed as THEE most popular tune of the entire Twentieth Century, known 'round the world as a song of hope.

It still sounds pretty polished to me Jennifer 😂. Keith is the greatest musician to ever live, I’ve listened to this version literally thousands of times and I can never get enough. It soothes my spirit like the psalmist David soothed King Saul with his beautiful music
