Watching Keith reminiscing about his youth and where it all started for him is probably the greatest thing I've seen in a person. Rock n roll legend, old man, ex drug addict, and through it all he held that gleam in his eye and its very apparent here. Guy went from being a rockstar to being a goddamn philosopher and sage.

I love the music the Stones recorded at Chess Studios… tracks like Down the Road Apiece, Around & Around, & the great instrumental 2120 South Michigan Avenue have such an authentic ‘Chicago urban blues’ sound that’s as exciting today as it was when they were first recorded by them - almost 60 years ago!

@Digger2527: Most American kids in those days were prevented from hearing this music by the powers who controlled the air waves. Only in certain parts of the country, like the Delta region, could you hear Blues on the radio. Which is why great white blues emerged in that region, raised on the sounds of Country and Blues and translating it into Rock n Roll and Soul. Booker T and The MGs and the FAME rhythm section had white players with great Blues chopts.

XD I remember having a discussion with a guy on the train who had his own music studio and completely disapproved of the "unorthodox" ways of recording. everything had to be clean, recorded separately, digitally edited. I said: "You are such an idiot. you're taking all the personality out of the music.". and watching this I'm glad Keith agrees with me.

@@d2dar459 Oh okay, its either th,or tha Kinda like a USA slang over here. In San Antonio Texas a hotel named the Guenther has a brass plaque commemorating Robert Johnson staying and recording about half of his recordings. You can actually rent the room. He recorded at the Blue Bonnet Hotel too but they knocked that down in the 70's. They replaced it with a parking lot, ha! Check out San Antonio Blues Society on the Web. Bobby Keys met the Stones first time in San Antonio also. I love England, great history beautiful country. Stay safe-

At 1:21 Paul Jones, who had quite a lot of success with Manfred Mann and although I respect and like him as a singer, I'm sure the Stones wouldn't have become so rich and famous with him instead of Mick Jagger.
