THEİMUSSA (ÜÇAĞIZ)
Demre’nin Üçağız Köyü yakınlarında bulunan antik Likya kentidir. Yerleşim yeri, Kekova doğal ve arkeolojik SİT kapsamında korunan yörelerden biridir. Antik kentin tarihinin, M.ö. 4. yüzyıla kadar indiği Theimussa'da daha çok mezar kalıntıları yer alıyor. Kayalık alçak bir tepe üzerinde yer alan kale, bugün denizin içinde kalmış olan sur parçası ve kentin doğu ucundaki kayalar içine oyulmuş iskele bulunmaktadır. Theimussa, Kekova yakınında Üçağız Köyü'nün bulunduğu yerde doğal bir limandır..
Antik Kentin tarihinin, bulunan bir yazıttaki bir kitabeden M.ö. 4. yüzyıla kadar indiği anlaşılıyor. Theimussa’da daha çok mezar kalıntıları yer alıyor. Görülmesi gereken antik kalıntılar, kayalık alçak bir tepe üzerinde yer alan kale, bugün denizin içinde kalmış olan sur parçası ve kentin doğu ucundaki kayalar içine oyulmuş iskele bulunmaktadır.
Theimussa, Kekova yakınında Üçağız Köyü’nün bulunduğu yerde doğal bir limandır.
Burada yüzey araştırması ve arkeolojik kazı yapılmadığından kent ile ilgili bilgiler son derece sınırlıdır. kitabeden M.ö. IV. yüzyılda bu kentin tarihi ile ilgili bilgi edinebiliyoruz. Ayrıca köy içinde antik çağdan kalma mezar kalıntıları ile söveleri ayakta kalan bir kapı ve yakınındaki kayalığın üzerinde bir kulenin kalıntısı vardır.
Antik Kentin iskelenin arkasında M.ö. IV. yüzyıla tarihlenen ev tipi mezarın üzerinde çıplak bir erkek tasviri bulunmaktadır. Bu mezarın kitabesinden de bu mezarın Kluwanimi’ye aittir
Doğuda birçok lahit görülür. Bu mezarların çoğu Hellenistik ve Roma dönemine aittir. Mezarların üzerindeki yazıtlar da Kyenai ve Myra vatandaşı diye yazılıdır.
Kaleköy’deki Simena, Apollonia, İsinda ve Aperlai ile birlik oluşturduğu gibi herhalde Theimussa’da, Myra ve Kyaenai ile bir birlik oluşturmuş olup o şehirlerden birisi ile Likya Birliğinde temsil edilmekteydi. Şehrin doğu ucunda kayaların kesilmesiyle 28 m uzunlukta 8 m genişlikte bir iskele bulunmaktadır.Üzerinde pansiyonlar ve kafeler bulunan Yarım adaya, sadece teknelerle ulaşım sağlanmaktadır, kara ulaşımı yoktur. Buradan Kaleköy’de bulunan Simena’ya geçilir.
