Awesome to see this! Thank you Kelly for sharing your day with us. Mountain biking is fun for sure and what you said about it is true- can be very challenging. I've hit a tree, blew out a tire on landing a jump (over handlebars), and ran of the trail by a horse so yes- obstacles. The worse ever was when I was in Texas i hit some soft sand coming out of a creek and came to dead stop. Couldn't unclip fast enough and fell into a Catcus. Was plucking for days...

I worked at a bike shop in mid-90's in SE Michigan and one of the Detroit Pistons, Don Reid, bought a mountain bike at our shop The biggest bike we could order was still so tiny for him and it was so tough to keep the bike running properly because he is muscular/heavy. He bent the normal quick release rear axle so we re-built the rear wheel with a solid chromoly axle, and he even bent that! Cool to see Kelly Ojr can get a bike that fits properly and holds up to the riding!
