Tricked mine out with a comp, cheek pad, rail etc. Shoots great.

Love mine. Got mine with a rail and red dot. Now it's becoming my grouse gun because of the super dense forest near me and it's ability to be so compact. Probably shouldn't have gotten the rail and red dot for hunting but I originally got it for home protection. Oh well it looks sweet.

I designed a FVG attachment for the KS7. I think it's awesome and I'll have it up on eBay in 2-3 weeks. You mentioned a side grip that attaches to the upper MLOK slot. I think I'll design something for that too. Maybe at a 45-30 degree angle down. I'm using an engineering high grade polyurethane resin and it is very tuff material. Great review.

I have one, I had an issue just like that. If you have a failure to extract, just push the loose round back into the bottom tube and then rack again.

I agree with you. I had a KSG, but I found it to be too large, and hard to rack. I gave it to a friend. Then got the KS7 and found it to be perfect for me. Easier to rack, easier to load with only one tube, and perfect size for my house protection.

Yes... It's a pump-action shotgun, you have to jam that action back after each round, with force, lean into the recoil and pull the SG into your shoulder pocket! Anyways, it's a Keltec, 50/50 shot (no pun) it'll function well! I had the original KSG when they 1st came out and I had a Sub2K when they 1st came out, they are what they are a polymer sub $500 gun, nothing more or less! Also, it's lightweight so recoil will always be a bitch! Grab a draconian M-500, heavy, bulky and ugly but much more manageable recoil!

It can't kick any harder a Mossberg 835 Turkey gun. Bought a box of five 3 1/2" turkey mags. The first one I shot screwed me around to the other side of the tree I was leaning against. Still got the other four shells in the box. Think they will stay there

Yea... $700 is probably 200 - 300 more than it's worth! They're on sale at Grab a Gun for $350, that's about what they're worth... Almost anything Keltec isn't worth north of $500!

It's called a follower, a plunger is what you use to clear a sink drain. Try the KS7 with low recoil. Bullpup guns require working with and more so if you have years with a regular style shotgun. Top rail needs a 3/4" riser for use of small red dot.

I want a pic rail that can be added under the front portion of the carry handle so you could do an angled circle sight or maybe have it so it adds side rails under that front portion for a laser and light for those that want them on their shotty

I just bought one of these and its interesting to see the comments from the people that did send them back for work. Keltec seems to do a bunch of "upgrades" as well as finish work to them, so its a mystery to me why these repairs and upgrades that they do aren't just standard from the factory. Their QC must be shit for the reputation this shotty has.
@SandMDOTCOM1

I think nutin fancy called it when he said keltech is innovative but they send their products out with testing them. The buyer is their QC department. Most people won't fire it enough to know if there is an issue.

If you buy a firearm, don't firstly completely disassemble, inspect, clean and lubricate it, you're already starting off on the wrong foot! Then put at least a couple of hundred rounds through it, personally I would say anything less than 500 rounds isn't sufficient to put a weapon through its break in period and if it doesn't have any major malfunctions (not user caused), then it's probably a good firearm. Also people overlook ammunition and poor QA standards of ammunition production, ammo can cause many malfunctions like short cycling, stove piping and at worse a squib load especially with Aguila and other ammunition produced outside of the US! AS a person who's an Armorer for a large Metropolitan Police Department and 23 years in the military, many companies not only Keltec ship out firearms that have recalls and repairs required. Especially when purchasing them by the thousands, like we do, I have seen hundreds of incorrectly machined parts from Smith and Wesson. If you want a good firearm, that you can believe in and trust to be professionally engineered and tested... Buy FN, HK or Sig Sauer, especially the 1st two. I don't want to sound cliche but you do get what you pay for!

I feel the bullpup design is slimed down already. I'm 5,11" and feel both models feel short. I mean look how bent your trigger elbow is when shooting. Therefore, the KSM with 2X the capacity and slightly better recoil management, I couldn't justify the KS7 over the KSG. Remember, break it in with a couple hundred rounds and rack it with authority for reliability

It has nothing to do with bullpup or standard forward magazine/breech, it's the lightweight polymer that's the reason, less weight = more recoil! Grab a classic M-500, heavy, bulky and ugly but more manageable recoil!!

@@victorglaviano I assume you mean a Mossberg 500 when you say M-500. In which case, they are not heavy shotguns. In fact, they're quite light since they use alloy receivers and have relatively thin barrels.

Basic physics it's a bullpup bullpups are going to kick a little bit more than something with the action more forward to the end of the firearm or weapon then something that's got all the action right there at your shoulder plus it's light and polymer so it's going to kick more it's physics

Sorry but worst review i have ever seen...did you even read the manual? Loading is easy when the gun is upside down. I use a sling and flip it right over to load, no problem. Sometimes i even load while shouldered and its a little more challenging bit doable. You are giving the gun a bad rap. Rapid firing and not racking with authority, no wonder you had issues. Also...why are you suprised about the recoil...its a light weapon!!! Generally amaturish review all around.

I agree 100% with you. It all comes down to practice. I purchased one a week ago, along with dummy rounds, and practice loading it each day. I even encountered the problem that took him 15 minutes to fix, including his field stripping it. With practice, I fixed the same issue within one minute, without taking the gun apart. He seems to be reviewing this gun on his very first use/introduction to it. He shouldn't have reviewed the gun before "taking several laps" with it.
