I had the privilege of not only seeing him live, and having a very late night(early morning)but to work on his show twice as stage crew..and 5 yrs ago,I got my wish,it was 0245,I asked him to sign a few things, and one was reproduction poster from a now closed theatre, and although the theatre closed in 1997,he remembered one of the theatre managers, who was the manager, when I worked at that theatre back in 1969..I were also amazed at the conversations he exchanged with other people, and his knowledge of theatres,,location, names, was amazing..I have a photograph with him, and other stage crew members, taken at around 3am, little did we know, it would be the last time we would see him,as he died the following year, although he was booked in to appear in the June.I have grown up laughing at Doddy, and got the ultimate dream of working with him.I miss him, and his annual shows..Lady Anne is also a very lovely lady, and really was the one who looked after him,and took part in his shows..but thankfully, we have his videos, and a record of one of the funniest men, with incredible stamina, and memory..,but the memories he has left millions, his unique comedy, and laughter is priceless.

This is probably going to sound ridiculous but when I herd that Doddy had died I thought it was all just a bad dream but sadly it wasn't it was true my hero had gone and it felt like all the laughter had just gone away, my heart completely broke, I thought he would live forever and just go and on making people laugh, it took me three months to get over his death and also to grieve in a way because he meant so much to me and I never got the chance to tell him or Thank him for all the laughter and happiness he brought me through some very tough and painful times in my life, once again Thank You Doddy for your All the laughter and happiness you brought me. Rest In Peace Ken you were Simply The Best ❤️🙏🌹

It take real skill to throw your voice, I am interested in this art but it is a complex skill. Having watched tutorials on this art Ken shows he is true talent, bringing a puppet to life and telling jokes at the same time under pressure from an audience that wants the best. Ken used the special alphabet. RIP
