I love Ken's ability to present God's word in a plain and succinct manner. He puts scripture together that some see as unrelated to one another using God's word to show the continuity on thought from the beginning to the end. However he is stuck, like so many Christians, on the term "the end". If we go back to Moses we see "the latter days". In Daniel we see that in these "latter days" there will come an end. We see this theme carried through the prophets until the coming of John the baptizer. Then we see it's fulfilled meaning in the book of Revelation, the Apocalypse, the unveiling or uncovering of all that has been a mystery or covered by a veil is revealed in the New Jerusalem, the New Heavens and the New Earth, that is the New Covenant is completely put into force, the CONSUMMATION EVENTS. Ken talks about it in the imagery of the divorce of Israel, the Bride coming down out of Heaven prepared for the Lamb. Isaiah 65:17f and Revelation 21:1, 4. The first resurrection is the saints of the Old Covenant who are judged by the requirements of that covenant and the martyrs, believers that were put to death because of their faith in Jesus the Messiah. Matthew 19:28 Jesus said to them, “I assure you: In the Messianic Age, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, YOU WHO HAVE FOLLOWED ME WILL SIT ON 12 THRONES JUDGING THE 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL." John 14:27b "Your heart must not be troubled or fearful. 28 You have heard Me tell you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. 29 I have told you now before it happens so that when it does happen you may believe. 30 I will not talk with you much longer, because THE RULER OF THE WORLD IS COMING. He has no power over Me. 31 On the contrary, I am going away so that the world may know that I love the Father. Just as the Father commanded Me, so I do." 16:1 “I have told you these things to keep you from stumbling. 2 They will ban you from the synagogues. In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering service to God..." 8 When He(the counselor) comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment: 9 About sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; 11 and about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged." 17:23 I am in them and You are in Me. May they be made completely one, so the world may know You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire those You have given Me to be with Me where I am. Then they will see My glory, which You have given Me because You loved Me before the world’s foundation." Luke 21:16-19 You will even be betrayed by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. THE WILL KILL SOME OF YOU. 17 You will be hated by everyone because of My name, 18 but NOT a hair of your head will NOT BE LOST. 19 By your endurance GAIN YOUR LIVES."; 31 In the same way, when you see these things happening, recognize[k] that THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR. 32 I assure you: THIS GENERATION will certainly not pass away until all things take place. 33 HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL PASS AWAY,... HINT: 1000 IS NOT A NUMBER BUT A COMPLETE PERIOD OF TIME! CHILIOI: xílioi - properly, a thousand; the product of 10 x 10 x 10 (10^3, ten cubed); (figuratively) emphatic, total inclusiveness, SHOWING NO ONE(NOTHING) IS LEFT OUT. I.E. 'I'VE TOLD YOU A THOUSAND TIMES!" So Revelation is completing the work of Jesus that started on the cross. Hebrews 9:24-28 ...But now He has appeared one time, AT THE END of the ages, for the removal of sin BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF. 27 And just as it is appointed for people to die once-and after this, judgment- 28 so also the Messiah, HAVING BEEN OFFERED once to bear the sins of many, WILL APPEAR A SECOND TIME, not to bear sin, but TO BRING SALVATION to those who are waiting for Him. And we who are alive after this judgment of those in the graves at that time will pass over judgment to meet Him in the air. John 5:24-29 24 “I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life. 25 “I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself. 27 And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come out-those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment..." and 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. '.

I see all these comments asking questions and believe me I have questions too, it wouldn't be normal if you didn't have questions related to God's Word. Some of these questions are so incorrect and based on missing the first point and rule of extrapolating an interpretation from the text in the first place. You must understand that you are not a jew, hebrew that lived in that time of Christ or more importantly in the culture that led up to Christ's coming. Even if you know hebrew now...means little to understanding how the covenantal text is to be interpreted. We have been raised and indoctrinated in a culture that has a way of expressing itself totally different than that of old jerusalem. You've got to take off your old "greek" "american" "english" "western" minded goggles first and try to understand the old judaic culture and old covenantal language and that the "bible" old and new covenant scripture was first intended to a certain type of audience. Find yourself blessed that you have the opportunity to discover the truth and be a child of God and be able to divulge on these scriptural matters. This is what has been happening to "all" of our western churches that are teaching false doctrines today, they forgot to take their "goggles" off. It's unbelievable how a large group of people can be in false accord, leading many astray.
@rayortiz6189

yeah thats spot on, the original audience has the OT as their scriptures, the thing they grew up learning. And for, 1500?, years of their history it was about the descendants of abraham/jacob and the law, types and shadows, etc. So the OT references and imagery MUST be noticed and understood when reading through Revelation, as you said- to understand the meaning to the original audience.

@neilwani1178

Luke Assande This is the reason Luke 21 is not a parallel passage with Matthew 24/Mark 13. I have shared this with many preterists and they cannot say anything because it is logically impossible for the passages to be parallel. Luke 21 is not a parallel passage with Matthew 24/Mark 13. This means Luke 21 was given first at day time in public when Jesus was leaving the temple (Luke 21 37). And at night time in private on the Mount of Olives, the disciples asked new questions about the ending of Luke 21 (Luke 21 37). Pay attention to the bold font. Look at Luke 21 - it starts out with the beginning of sorrows in the end times: Luke 21 8 And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. 9 But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, *but the end will not come immediately.”* 10 Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. BUT LOOK AT LUKE 21 12. IT SAYS "BEFORE THESE THINGS" AND IT FLOWS TILL THE ARMIES SURROUND JERUSALEM. Luke 21 12 *But before all these things,* they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. 13 But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. 14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. 17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls. 18 20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. NOW LOOK AT MATTHEW 24 IN THE END TIMES Matthew 24 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, *but the end is not yet.* 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. AFTER THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS, THE WORD "THEN" IS USED TO CONNECT THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS ALL THE WAY TO THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION. Matthew 24 9 *“Then* they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, *and then the end will come.* 15 15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), THIS PROVES THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS AND THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION IS AFTER 70 AD AND IN THE END TIMES. ALL PRETERISTS WILL BE PROVEN WRONG. FOR THEM, IT IS A HUGE PROBLEM WITH THE WORDS IN GREEK TRANSLATED BEFORE THESE THINGS AND THE WORD THEN. EVEN MARK 13 9 DOES NOT HAVE BEFORE THESE THINGS AND MARK 13 10 IS ESSENTIALLY THE SAME AS MATTHEW 24 14 WITHOUT THE LAST PART THAT SAYS AND THEN THE END WILL COME.

1. What day did Jesus say the disciples would not see in Luke 17 that would come with observation? Luke 17 22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 2. Is Luke 21 12 and Matthew 24 9 allegory? Was Luke 21 given at the same time as Matthew 24? 3. Is Rev 11 2 in the past when the 5th and 6th and 7th trumpet judgment occurred. If so, what happened at the 5th and 6th and 7th trumpet? 4. Did Jesus come in the clouds or is Matthew 24 allegory as well? 5. Did the angels proclaim the gospels to all the nations and all the tribes and all tongues before the 7th trumpet and then the end came? 6. Was the beast and the false prophet cast alive in the lake of fire in the past? Who were they? Who saw this? 7. What happened when the 6th trumpet sounded? Was 1/3 of mankind killed or is that allegory? 8. Is 70 AD the worst tribulation the world will ever see? Matthew 24 21 and Mark 13 19? 9. What is the abomination of desolation that triggered the greatest tribulation the world will ever see in Matthew 24/Mark 13? The phrase is where the Jews get the feast of dedication in the gospel of John. It was a blasphemy in the temple and a man proclaiming he is God? 10. What generation saw the Fig Tree bud in Luke 21 29-36? What Fig Tree bud when the times of the gentiles ended and 2 witnesses appeared and the 6th and 7th trumpet sounded? 11. After the crucifixion in Acts 1 6-7, Jesus was asked if the kingdom was going to be restored to Israel at that time? Why did Jesus say that event was in the Father's authority and they were not to know when that would happen? Why didn't He say it never would be restored to Israel after the city and temple were going to be destroyed like what He had told them when asked in public at the temple?

This is the outline since I am saying Luke 21 was given first. Then Matthew 24/Mark 13 are talking about the ending of Luke 21. Luke 21 8-11 is the beginning of sorrows in the end times Luke 21 12 to Luke 21 23 is about the early church and 70 AD in the past Luke 21 24 is future and ends on the last day of Daniels 70th week as given in Rev 11 2 (2nd half of Daniel's 70th week). Luke 21 25-28 is the 2nd coming on the very last day of Daniels 70th week Luke 21 29-36 is the generation watching all these things come together and watching for 1 day Matthew 24 4-8 is the beginning of sorrows in the end times (the first 4 seals some time in the 1st half) Matt 24 9-27 is the 2nd half of Daniel's 70th week (5th seal till day of the 7th trumpet) Matthew 24 28-31 is the 2nd coming on the very last day of Daniels 70th week Matthew 24 32-51 gives more details about the end of the church age Mark 13 5-8 is the beginning of sorrows in the end times (the first 4 seals some time in the 1st half) Mark 13 9-23 is the 2nd half of Daniel's 70th week (5th seal till day of the 7th trumpet) Mark 13 24-27 is the 2nd coming on the very last day of Daniels 70th week Mark 13 28-36 gives more details about the end of the church age

Because the New Heavens and the New earth refer to the New Covenant and a new people of God Jews and Gentiles together! See Spurgeon, Jonathan Edwards on this. In ch 21&22, you got a problem with your chronology because John says come and drink of water of the river of life. i.e. the gates of the new Jerusalem are already open when John wrote! People were freely coming into the "spiritual kingdom" that Christ brought. It is not about the future, but about the kingdom gates opened for all people!

I tend to believe the first resurrection was only for Israel. That resurrection was part of their judgment -- separating the wheat from the chaff (see Dan 12:1-2..) Further, the royal priesthood was promised only to the children of Israel (Exo 19:5-6,) and that is how Rev 20 identifies the resurrected: _"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but _*_they shall be priests of God and of Christ,_*_ and shall reign with him a thousand years." -- Rev 20:6 KJV_ Just saying. The issue I have with men’s view of the first and second resurrection is that in the context it in no way speaks of a spiritual resurrection as the first. Also when he quotes John that the dead will be resurrected some to life and some to death can easily be speaking of all that are still dead in revelation 20.

Didn't talk about "anti christ" or "Beast" or "lawless one" at all. Same person? Not the same person? Is it even a person? Is "lawless one" also prederistly fulfilled in First century too? My tendency is to think John is writing to both 1st century churches and post 70AD churches. The 7 churches are real specific churches in his day but certainly other churches existed too. Why write about/ to just these 7? Its interesting that these 7 churches seem to cover the spectrum of what kind of churches we see yet today. These 7 churches are representing all. So, Johns message is to BOTH them and us. Most Postmill guys have no problem with that application of the 7 letters to 7 churches, so why do they resist the idea that the apocalyptic language is for both 70AD and yet to come future? I mean the letters to the churches are less vague and we can easily generalize their message. Why is it hard for them to be open to the idea that Nero Ceaser was just one type of "Beast" just as Christ types exist in OT? 'The Lawless one' seems to be more at very last days. Couldn't the drama of the Beast and Harlet more or less have duel fullfilments both at 70AD and again at 7 year lossening of Satan, Armageddon and Gog and Magog? Rev is vague enough to allow for this to make sense. Duality of prophecy is common in Scripture.

Is Satan currently bound? I thought he was the Prince of the Power of the Air (Ephesians 2:2)? What about the Full Armor of God that is used against the schemes of the Devil How can Satan be bound and at the same time be Prince of the Power of the Air? Also, the Binding of Satan concerns the fact that He "should deceive the nations no more" (Revelations 20:3). Again if we are told to put on the Full armor of God to fight against the schemes of Satan, then how can he be currently bound?

I guess "Prince of the Power of the Air (Ephesians 2:2)" was still acting prior the end of the age, when Jerusalem fell, so after that he was completely bounded. So after the new age came satan lost much of his power, since he is bounded, and now the church will thrive and fill the Earth! The binding of Satan is for one purpose only, to prohibit Satan from empowering the worldwide nations to persecute Christians, just like he did in chapters 12-13. Jerusalem beginning with Stephen, and Rome beginning with Nero persecuted Christians, but after the beast is defeated in chapter 19, Satan cannot empower the nations until after the millennium. After the millennium Satan is briefly released to return to persuading the worldwide nations to once again persecute Christians, but in this final attempt, Christ intervenes before Satan succeeds. Then the judgement occurs, following with eternity.

Revelation 20:4, it's the resurrection of martyred souls, and not a bodily resurrection. These are those who refused to offer a sacrifice to the Roman Emperor as God, something that a true Christian could not do. These martyred souls are the ones reigning for one thousand years. When these souls end their thousand year reign, then Satan is released from the bottomless pit, in order to once again try to persuade the worldwide nations to persecute Christians again, like before, but Christ stops him before he can do any damage, and then institutes the judgment resulting in the beginning of eternity.

+Anthony Booker - Why does it say Satan was bound? For a specific reason, right? In other words, restricted in a certain way. I don't think you believe Satan is physically imprisoned (since he is a spirit), right? The "bottomless pit" isn't a physical place. (A physical place has a bottom.) This is figurative language. Satan is bound, kept from deceiving the nations. A specific reason. Revelation 20:1-3 (KJV) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Satan wasn't bound at 70AD, he was bound at the time of resurrection. This allowed the gospel to go out to the the nations, beginning on the day of Pentecost, just as Jesus prophesied in Acts 1 just before he ascended. Satan is still at work in this world -- he rules the lives of those in unbelief, which includes the vast majority of humans -- but he was kept from preventing the gospel from being spread. Need evidence? The gospel went out. It's all over the world. It had gone out to the entire Roman Empire prior to 70AD and Paul mentioned that several times in his letters. But with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD those Christians who had heeded Jesus' words and fled to safety ended up spreading the gospel further after leaving Israel -- the diaspora. It seems possible to me that Satan has been released for his little season to go out to deceive the nations once again, though it's done differently today. He cannot keep the word from going out, because it's already gone out. Now he is causing many to twist up scriptures (the cause of apostasy) through many false prophets and false teachers. This may have began around 1830 with the introduction of many heresies in the church..

Jeremiah 531 If you keep these things to yourself, you would be better off. But now you are teaching them and you will be held accountable for all that you are teaching. There are severe warnings in Rev 22 to make a mockery of scripture.

..The close of probation will coincide with. when Sunday Law is imposed...The Protestants and the nation of Israel in the past were given 490 years(70 weeks) to determine all righteousness , an end to sin(transgression of the 4th law), to depart completely from Catholics-ism from Sunday worship(Peter asked Jesus ,how many times should one forgive his brother..its 70 x 7) The 70 weeks prophecy(490 years) and the 7 years(baptism ,death and resurrection)(7 plagues) are given to the Protestants and the last generation, to become remnants of her seed , of the 7th church of Asia and separate completely from the 8th church and 8th beast which is Catholic-ism ...Sunday is the mark of the beast!..666 =18..1 is first day of the week, 8 is the 8th day of the week and both are Sunday.

I'm sorry to inform you there will be no Sunday law, There is no recorded position for your statement. 70 weeks is in error, the word for weeks is not found in the original text, instead of 70 being a word it is a number, and the word of weeks is in error, the word weeks in the original language is a number, what number 70. Here is where the error lies; the word for 70 is Shabim, now reading the text you see that the number repeats itself, Weeks is not in the text. the wording is 70 70 or shabim- shabim. meaning 2 separate 70 year periods under captivity in those days. Scripture is simple If you have eyes to see and hears that hear, you dont have to force the scripture to make it say something that it does not speak. The mark of the beast is self: 1 John 2:15 Love not this world, neither the things that are in this world. If any man love this world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in this world, (as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) is not of the Father, but is of this world. Genesis 3:6 So the woman (seeing that the tree was good for meat, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired, to get knowledge) took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her, and he did eat. These same lusts tempted Christ, he overcame them Proverbs 27:20 Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. Romans 13:14 Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh. Ephesians 2:3 We all lived among them at one time in the cravings of our flesh, indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath. 1 Peter 2:11 Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from the desires of the flesh, which war against your soul.

Craig Dumont Yes, thank you so much; I’ve really enjoyed Ken’s Revelation series and his interpretation rings so true in my spirit......Dispensationalists are trying to insert America into this wonderful book; they overlook that America is not a city :) Reading it from the first rule of hermeneutics, audience relevance, brings this book to life and makes so much sense...,Bravo 🙏🏽❣️

The material presented is somewhat interesting but not necessarily important and so my two cents regarding "New Jerusalem". There is some scripture passages referring to the 'renewing' of the heavens and the earth and one such passage begins at Rev. 21:1 and is immediately followed by the vision John has of "... the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,...". To accept this as literal is very consoling in that it gives a 'definitive' sense to not only being with and where Jesus is but also indicates a firm fixed place rather than some 'nebulous' environment and makes for greater anticipation to not only see but occupy the mansions as per John 14:2. Now that we realize the enormity of the universe and our limited ability to thoroughly investigate the expanse, it is reasonable to accept the likelihood that " new Jerusalem " exists at this time and is also partially occupied but possibly with a great many vacancies waiting to be filled.

Contra the popular translations, Rev. 21:16 doesn't say the city is 12,000 stadia, but 12,000 kalamous epi stadia, or 12,000 kalamous-rod measures, which is the same size as the city described in Ezekiel 48.

Amen brother I am continuing to enjoy your teachings on the book of Revelation it's hard to find a preacher of God's word who really understands how to rightfully divide the word of Truth. But I would also like to say that through my deep studies The Holy Spirit showed me how to interpret the subject "Satan being bound for a thousand years" and it is in Revelation 17:12-17 12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. The ten horns are ten kings; at the time that Revelation was written these kings were not alive yet and they received power one hour with the beast But the Lamb overcame them and used them for his own will and the scriptures says that they will hate the whore and make her desolate and naked and burn her with fire. As you said in one of your other videos that the whore is Jerusalem and we both agree on that and the ten kings represent the ten wars that occurred in Jerusalem from 115ad to 117ad the Kitos War and the Bar kokhba revolt 132ad to136ad just to name a few all the way through 1967ad the six day war way into the 20th century when the scriptures says that the ten kings will hate the whore and make her desolate and naked and burn her with fire that means Wars and rumors of wars all in Jerusalem and these wars were not the Wrath of Satan but by the will of God Satan was prohibited from deceiving or destroying in Jerusalem, according to verse 17 of Revelation 17 this was the great tribulation that Jesus spoke of in Matthew chapter 24 this was the time of Jacob's troubles (Jer.30) There is no tribulation period in the future the Lord took his people Israel through their time of tribulation and now they are back in their land as God had promised through his prophets. And now this is what the Holy Spirit showed me about the Saints reigning with Christ for a thousand years. And I agree with you it is not literal a thousand years but in this text it is spiritual this is describing the Perseverance of the Saints of God Mark 10:30 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life So a thousand years denotes persecution suffering, fighting the good fight of faith which reaps a hundred fold and eternal life just as the Jew and Gentile Christians in Asia Minor who were persecuted and martyed for their faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ no matter what the circumstances were that they were facing they held on to their faith one hundred fold unto death. The Bible says that we are made captains of our salvation through suffering, this is what the Holy Spirit showed me about Christ reigning for a thousand years "Jesus said those that endures to the end shall be saved. But the end of what? Persecution. Christ ruled and reigned in the martyred Christians lives in Asia Minor one hundred fold these persecuted Saints looked not at the things that are seen but the things that are not seen they were already sitting together with the Lord in heavenly places Colossians 1:19-28 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; 24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: 25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: For the Bible says that we are complete in him who is the head of all principalities and powers. Amen 🙏!

I don't understand how it can be said that "someone who dies at the age of a hundred will be thought accursed." People still rarely live beyond that. I've always understood to mean that those who inhabit the new earth will live a very long time. Of course these would somehow be people who haven't been resurrected to eternal life. I'd like to see Dr. Gentry address this.

Indeed the Kingdom of God has already come and it resides within our hearts. But we Christians are also still in this world, so whereas Revelation speaks to the Kingdom within, it also foretells of the END of the physical world, and the coming judgments, resurrections and the glorified Kingdom! Mr. Gentry seems sincere, but he comes to his conclusions base on some common misunderstandings. Beginning with his insistence that everything in Revelation was to be fulfilled in a short time. Rev 1:1 says the things in the Vision would "ginomai" "be generated" "come", "come to pass" "come into being" or "come to be" and or "arise" in a short time. NOT be necessarily fulfilled (completed) in a short time. There are other Greek words for that. Moreover, he kind of hints that he believes this later, as he believes the very end of Rev (Christ's return) has not been fulfilled yet...so I would ask him...has ALL of the Vision taken place or not??? Mr. Gentry also mentioned the “Tribulation” making the point that the Apostle John said he was in “Tribulation” in his day. And indeed John was. The Eschatologist make the “tribulation” or rather the “Great Tribulation” some great end times event, but they are wrong. Tribulation Definition: a state of great trouble or suffering. Jesus said “in this world you will have tribulation (for being Christian)”. “Tribulation” in Scripture simply means Christians suffering for being Christians. The Christians suffered in John’s day and Christians are still suffering today. So I believe the GREAT Tribulation refers to the lengthy duration of Christian sufferings (2000 years so far) ---NOT a certain period of a more difficult suffering. Indeed, the “multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language...wearing white robes and holding palm branches…” who came “out of the Great Tribulation” are simply the THOUSANDS of Christians who have suffered for being Christians over the last 2000 years, or until Jesus returns. Notice there are TOO MANY TO COUNT and they are from EVERY NATION. So this crowd could only exist AFTER the Gospel has been preached to the whole world, and many, many, many people of OTHER nations have come to suffer for being Christians. This could not have been accomplished by 70 AD!

It is all about the birthright and the "great tribulation" will be perpetrated upon Jacob-Israel by Esau via the noahide laws of satan which will finally and once and for all separate the goats from the sheep, the darkness from the light.

I do not understand. What reasons are there not to take these passages literally? Concerning the 1000 years of Christ reigning Ken Gentry gave biblical statements and explanations why it should not be taken literal. As for Jonah and the other examples you mentioned, I can not think of any verses which would make me doubt a literal meaning. Even Eusebius, one of the first (if not the first), christian historian also records the 1000 years are not to be taken literal.
@@leroybrown7695 what does this have to do with the 1000 year reign of Christ? I know the arguments stated in this article, but they have no connection to our topic at hand. We were discussing wether or not the 1000 years were meant literal. Ken Gentry gives a nice approach to answering this question by letting the bible interpret itself. Wether you are a preterist or futurist, we all agree that the bible speaks for itself. I have not yet heard an argument that would make me want to take these 1000 years literally
