The Africa Digital Rights Concert (Part of the Africa Law Tech Festival 2020) was informed by the need to address Technology Assisted Violence against
women (TAVAW) that has risen with increased adoption of technology.
The concert which took place at the Sarit Centre Expo hall in Nairobi on the 8th March 2020 (International Women’s day), was held by the Lawyers Hub in conjunction with Amnesty International Kenya, the International Commission of Jurists Kenyan Chapter and Omidyar Network to increase public awareness on TAVAW and set the ground to deal with such issues.
The Lawyers Hub is the first #LawTech Innovation and Co-Working Hub In Africa which exists to provide a nexus between Law and Technology and uses technology as a leverage and improve access to justice and the business of law.
