why were people surprised Tyler was there ? He’s a west coast artist and has a good friendship with Kendrick

I suspect that the reason Kendrick performed with AB-Soul in that way is because AB-Soul is legally blind which makes it harder to navigate dark and shadowy places like that set. If you noticed, it always seemed like Kendrick, Jay Rock, or Schoolboy Q were navigating the terrain for AB-Soul while he was onstage. AB-Soul didn't move up and down the stage like everyone else, staying very close to one of them or exactly where they lead him. For me, the speaks to love and respect for your people.

K dot is the undisputed King of this generation, and its not just me its what the culture feeling. He essentially told Drake. You are a guest in this house, and the fact that you keep disrespecting it with your foul behaviour means I will need to demonstrate to you what happens when the culture doesn't allow you to be here. Drake thought that the industry would always protect him, and to a large degree it has, but culture can be exploited, but it cannot be thwarted, if we dont mess with you, good luck trying to get suburban kids to see you as cool.

Everyone on stage was not a HipHop moment, that was a LA moment. 95% of the people on stage has nothing to do with music, it's a unity that LA needs to stop the violence of black on black crimes.

I’ve never, ever seen the gangs this united in my lifetime. He had the biggest rivals head banging together with his song. Shit was almost a tear jerker, cuz it was beautiful to be a part of. This went beyond LA, too. This was the whole Left Coast, and Ik me and many others pulled through from North San Diego to see this shit, and maaan, it’s easily the best concert I’ve ever been to

The nod to Pac with the fit homage based off of what he wore at the 94 Source Awards is truly diabolical.

Drake should have taken Lil Wayne's advise and stick to doing "Canadian stuff", California is like 4 times the size of Canada's GDP and twice the population.

He could have just kept repeating "I'm what the culture feeling" but instead he brought the culture together to say it for him. A beautiful day.

I’m so glad Kendrick is finally being recognized as the King indefinitely. He’s had so many albums/mixtapes in a row that have been straight classics. Dropped C4 in three weeks off Carter 3 beats, dropped O.verly D.edicated which was INSANE, Section.80, he dropped GKMC and was praised for a debut album that told a story, then he dropped To Pimp a Butterfly one of his most prolific conscious hip hop albums being said to be “a pantheon of racial empowerment,” DAMN. which told a different story forwards and backwards AND won him a Pulitzer Prize, and Mr. Morale. And let’s not forget when he went to the billboard with a bunch of throwaway songs on Untitled Unmastered. He just doesn’t miss. Even with his collaboration songs, features, and all those old Cyphers?!?! It’s hard to find artists that just have so many albums that I can listen to front to back on practically every single one

Idk if anyone who was watching it on Prime Video left it playing after the show ended but I thought it was funny that Amazon ran an ad for Prime with Venus and Serena like even the product placement was straight Compton 💀

It kinda sucked that snoop wasn't there, and if pac was there it'd be THE concert of all time, but the concert was HYPE. 5 times is crazy though
