Kendrick is actually scary versatile. His bpms usually aren't similar, song structures are unique and standout, instrumentation and sounds differ drastically, energy and feel of songs go from aggressive, sexy, funny, club-y, radio-friendly, dance-y, heavenly, head-y, vibe-y, to depressive. His words and content make you think, cry, pray, laugh, turn up, do better, and even protest. Goat.

The vids you chose for each song are near perfect. The majority of the “(artist) on shuffle” videos overuse clips like SpongeBob levitating or the hood dancing with the guy holding the speaker, or they only use them to convey general emotions like happy or sad. But these clips match each song so amazingly, although that’s partially due to Kendrick’s versatility as an artist. And the sync on the clips just makes things that much better

Going back and forth, trying to convince myself the stripes I earned, or maybe how A-1 my foundation was. Made me wanna go back to the city and tell the homies what I learned. The word was respect, just because you wore different gang colors than me, doesnt mean I can't respect ypu as a black man.
