Egypt: you cross your laces and tuck one under and pull tight. Then you loop them into bunny ears. Swizz: Yo sorry Kendrick, you want me to move him? Kendrick: Nahh man, he's helping me with my ahhhhhh writers blog. Yeah, that's it writers' blog. Egypt: Bunny ears Kendrick bunny ears! Now start over!!!

I figured his writer's block was because it'd probably hard for him to think of anything to write with all the thing he has down up until now. How much room does he have left to grow?

Alot. Emotions don't stop running the world keeps turning music keeps changing....at one point ppl thought there was nothing left for hiphop to say remember the slogan hip-hop is dead( also nas album name)and look how it's grown in 2022-2023 alone. There will always be room for kenny to grow

there was a 5 yr gap between Damn and Mr Morale... sounds like writers block to me, unless he was vacationing... rappers usually don't have that wide of a gap between albums; singers are different...
@dominicharris5489
Жыл бұрын
@@jaredlhulum lol it should be universal info that kendrick always takes years in betwen albums, hence the quallity of the albums when he drops. Yeah writers block can do that but kendrick always takes years in between. but I guess its believable that he had writers block if he says so himself
@jaredlhulum

@@dominicharris5489 2 yrs? yeah! Nas and J cole usually took 2 yrs between albums... 5 yrs? that's different!

@@jaredlhulum lol many rappers take 2 years off thats actually kind of normal.when u listen to k dots albums its kind of clear why HE takes years to make most of his albums. they are realy dense and artistically driven. those 5 years can very well be just simply how long k dot took to make this album just as much as him having writers block. I mean his latest was a double album. But i did say it very well can be writers block since he said it himself
@jaredlhulum
Жыл бұрын
@@dominicharris5489 2 yrs isn't the argument here; there is a 5 yr gap between Damn and Mr Morale... go google every rapper of his caliber, and see how many yrs it took them to release subsequent album... Bottom Line: Kendrick himself said he had Writer's Block, so who are we to dispute that?

if it was a white baby boy named Austin, Kingston, Camden, Zion, Israel... you wouldn't have a problem with it, if it was a white baby girl named Madison, Savannah, Brooklyn, London, Sienna.... you wouldn't have a problem with it... but name a black baby Egypt after a country in Africa, now you not okay with it... very interesting & very telling... 🤔

If you can't fathom how a child can help an adult, you don't need to have kids.
@anaheimauthentic5099
Жыл бұрын
@@dkmrap1 speaks about fathom when I just defined emotional support from literary assistant 🥱 nice try making my arguement seem like something it wasn't. I don't doubt kids I think they're capable of anything, they are the most creative, and can reach the stars. But really?... writers block at 5? Jay z, eminem, biggie, tupac, etc. Never came out with a similar story about a kid helping them out? but somehow kendrick (top 5 lyricist to date) had writers block? That's just who he is, sit down
@EmanonKing
Жыл бұрын
@@anaheimauthentic5099 The quotations on the word help seems like you doubt a kid can help an adult. But it’s even worse to doubt he has writer’s block. He literally talked about it in his last album. Every writer experiences it to some degree.

@@EmanonKing or he's just a really hard worker. U know tupac, from Oct. 1995- Sept. 1996 do u know how much work he was putting out? How many other people's albums he was working on and had to memorize? How many interviews? How many songs he was running thru? If it were any other rapper they'd be crying "it's too hard, I need a break, I can't do this" literally hard work and focus can make u seem invincible but it's hard work non the less

Kendrick has often said in interviews that he gets a lot of his inspiration from children, with that I see this as God speaking through this child to cousin Kenny.

Inspiration can come from anyone, at anytime, anywhere. If you’re a creative you understand that you don’t always have control over what inspires you. Props to the kid. Coulda been gibberish or whatever but that interaction made an impact on kdot
