Cool video. I guess Jay Black didn't bother to come. I wouldn't mind seeing Jay and the Americans be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Just saw Kenny Vance and the Planotones this past Saturday and they are still incredible.

Idiot! He wasn't invited. They blew him off because he didn't have the first hit. It was the first and only hit for Jay Traynor. Jay Black should have been there. A total disgrace!

I believe Kenny is on good terms with all of his old band mates. But I don't think Jay Black is fond of the other three original Americans for purchasing the band name after he lost the rights in a battle with the IRS.

@@JSL79 I don't blame him, and they disrespect him to this day, except for Kenny Vance. Kenny remained good friends with Jay Black. Kenny didn't get involved with "new" Jay and the Americans. The new Jay stinks!

Jay wasn't there because Jay Traynor was the origanal, not Jay Black.

@@linncarpenter3936 Except for Jay Traynor's great lead on "She Cried"! I think they were all on stage together in the early 2000's at a Richard Nader Oldies reunion show.

Jay Black should have been there. Traynor had one friggin' hit song! All the rest of the hits were from Jay Black! This is disgraceful.

Yeah, but you couldn't blame Traynor for that, since he hadn't been with those other "Americans" since the early 60's.He had been with Jay Siegel's Tokens up until the time of his death in 2014.
