I'm happy to see this video, because I've been seeing those Seachanges pop up around, since last month, and I kinda want one. I was hoping they were alloy, but found they were steel. I have a cranbrook, and have had about four of them, and a Nel Lusso, I wouldn't call them exactly light, it outwieghs my 83 Schwinn High Sierra. This video has answered a few questions, I had, except if the Kent is lighter. It's clearly not bigger, but has a more upright riding position, than the Huffy- which I like. First thing I usually do with cruisers, is swap out those hidious bars, for mtb ones, I like a more board tracker/cafe look, and it makes them less twitchy. Also Cranbrooks have 44 tooth chainrings- most walmart cruisers do, except the one with three piece cranks with wrap around chain gaurds- those are 32, and some Schwinns have bigger chainrings, like a 48t. I don't know the tooth count on the rear coaster, since I swap those for free wheels, but I'd guess around 19-23 teeth. If the Kent is ligher, then it's probably gonna be a trade up for me. Swap the parts and sell the crankbrook, or donate it to the bike co-op.

Oh my! Those are so well priced! Hehe, light? For £90 I just acquired a use Electra Classic cruiser, you know, the one with the suspension and boingy spring on the front. It's deffo not light! But it did have those similar type bars to your Kent men's. I'm replacing them with some different cowhorns today as I don't like riding with the swept back bars at all! Original sprung seat is pretty comfy. I've replaced the rubber pedals with MTB type. Mine has full length steel mudguards with rusty stays. (have to deal with that soon) Hope your trip went well. I'll check for any vids about it.

Huffy cranbrook will last you for years if the bearings are greased and not allowed to live outside. The 3 kents i had broke at frame. Only ever owned the one huffy, almost 10 years and still my favorite wallyworld bike.

Hi...do you end up keeping the Cranbrook and/or the women's Seachange? Are the handlebars the same on the woman's bike or are there slight differences compared to the men's bikes?

We still have them but will be selling them this summer. The handlebars are slightly different on the woman's bike The bikes are very similar in quality with only minor differences. I would say the woman's bike will fit a slightly smaller person better.

How did the Kent Hold up

They survived my trip, although the rear fender on the girl's Kent bike broke off just from the wind while on the bike rack. IMO these bikes will get the job done but there are better options for a little more money. Both the men's Kent and the Huffy Cranbrook need longer seat posts if you are 6 feet tall and a little stiffer springs in the seat if you weigh over 200lbs.

Thanks for the video! IS it anyway possible to attach a water bottle to any of these cruiser bikes? Would like to avoid adding some sort bike basket just a water bottle? Thanks again.

There are no screw attachment points for a water bottle holder. You'd have to opt for an alternative method. Maybe a velcro mounting holder or so on.

I think i see those more on hybrid bikes. (700c) where the space there is larger. That is a good idea for a beach cruiser.

I use a velcro attachment, but I want to swap it out for a handlebar cup holder soon. It's not that the velcro isn't doing its job, it's just I want something to hold drinks from my local coffee shop. Maybe I'll keep the velcro just for water if I can find a water bottle that matches the Kent Seachange.

Sorry, but it was just a quick first impression video. For a detailed review there are better resources.
