You must be the most un-touristy tourists ever. Love it. I like the way you just go with whatever comes along. Just my kind of travelogue with all the 'simple stuff'. No tacky zipwires and bungees 😛😛😛

When Hays said "but what is the point?" I had just a moment where I thought he was having an existential crises 😂

Nice video, very informative for us, we had to cancel Taroko Gorge due to the quake damage & kenting was our backup. What company did you hire your car through? Looking forward to more videos.

Ni hao ma! Tiawan is looking great! Crazy fruit, fun plants and not super busy roads. The beach is like super tiny rocks pretty mountains. And it has happy cats which automatically is approved as a great place to travel. And they have margs there! Nice Shi shi! Si chen 👋🏽

@@StephandPete totally agree, I started out watching KZitem years ago. and then got the itch to become a creator. But it’s all about the community so I like to comment along. But you’re right watching back puts the day in perspective. Anyway I watch a lot of travel on YT and I know how much work it all is so I appreciate that and I like to comment on people’s travels. Also my step mom grew up there so it’s interesting to see it. lol

The introduction is very detailed. I love watching your videos and look forward to every video you make. Taiwan's medical care ranks first in the world for four consecutive years. If you want to find a doctor, you can stay in Taiwan for a health check-up. The price at your own expense may be more favorable than in your country. Have a great time~

We love your videos. Every new destination makes me want to go with my family. Can you share how you found driving in Taiwan and if you would preferred driving yourself or taking the train?

aw thanks so much! That means a lot to us! The trains in Taiwan are incredible and it’s just this stretch that we got a car as they don’t go all the way south. Pete’s the driver and pretty confident anywhere but says they’re fantastic- not too busy and not confusing. We’ll always be train lovers but are beginning to acknowledge how handy a car can be with a little one. :) especially since during this portion of the trip, Hays was suffering from a UTI and was pretty miserable. 😭

When Hays was saying "You stink" near the start, my Alexa, for some reason, was trying to have a conversation with him. She gave up!
