its true only for the extrem points of the ellipse (90 degrees angle between momentum and radius vector). and since L is conserves it should be correct anywhere else

Now there's an intuitive concept for you: " the right-hand rule says that the angular momentum will be out of the board." I'll bet not one person can explain what that in fact means.

That's more than awesome... but I'm really confused that how equal momentum can lead to equal area ?? I mean can we prove law rightly by proving equal momentum??

when you took deriavtive of dA=(dtheta*r^2)/2 how come you not differentiate r? we are on ellipse, not circle so its not constant or is it?
@RithwikSudharsan
7 жыл бұрын
He didn't differentiate it, he just found the "infinitely small" area. The length "r" at the time is just "r" but the base is an "infinitely small" length.

But why when the planet is farther away from the sun it move slower? "Is that about the gravity?" Please answer me .
@cheetos201

why we cancelled the "P" and took its perpendicular component . r ??
@ulisespachecosanchez5058

in this case the component of "r" indicated the radio vector, how is the movement of the planet around the área, and indicated the sector of these vector, how is divided in 2 parts because the radio vector indicated the area that the planet is movement around....

Why it is still equal area in equal time even it is the one is moving faster and the one is moving slowly?
@SweetDippy
4 жыл бұрын
Because time is being used to measure the distance. If the times were different, this wouldnt work. The distance from the Sun matters as well. The closer the planet is to the Sun, the faster it moves because it is affected more strongly by the Sun's gravity. When the planet is furthest from the Sun, the planet is not* as strongly affected, so it moves slower. But time must be a constant for each aphelion and perihelion for the equation to be true.
