Kerosene Camp Stove|Its very useful for emergency|Tamil
Kerosene stoves are a good option due to the long (5+ year) storage life of kerosene, fuel safety and efficiency. Kerosene produces carbon monoxide when burned. We do not recommend using kerosene stoves or heaters indoors for this reason.
The kerosene wick stove working principle is similar to that of a kerosene lamp, which also generates heat but is used mostly to provide light. The kerosene vaporizes inside the chamber, and when you pump the stove, the pressure forces the vapor through an aperture in the burner where it burns
Disadvantages
1. Kerosene contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. All fossil fuels, including kerosene, release 'greenhouse gases' like carbon monoxide.
2. Kerosene is hard to recycle.
3. Kerosene is subject to price fluctuations.
4. Kerosene incurs maintenance costs.
Remember that kerosene heaters have a constant open flame and should not be used in a room where there are flammable solvents, aerosol sprays, lacquers, gasoline, kerosene containers or any type of oil. And never refuel a kerosene heater in living quarters or when the heater is still hot.
Kerosene is an exhaustible resource. When used in cheap wick stoves, kerosene can produce high levels of pollutants, and can significantly contribute to indoor air pollution and ill-health. It has an unpleasant smell and frequently adds an unpleasant taste to the food being cooked
