Mind you I was only 7-8 so finding getting other foods was not really in my wheelhouse at that time. That my friends is touter. The primary issue with my parents taking away my phone was the utter helplessness I felt. I mean, it's stupid to put your entire self-worth in one device. But it was a weird time. I was realizing that I couldn't day dream through choosing my career, (so, no literature hons for me,) understanding that studies won't be coming as easy in eleventh/twelfth grade more frustration due to my class results) and then, if anything happened(I didn't sleep on time, scored poor in my test, breathed to loud), my dad would take away the phone - it didn't even have a simcard. I just used it to write and read novels. Now that I'm older. I just think that all that drama I created was understandable, but stupid. And just me escaping the real world. It's stupid to add a comment like this below a stand-up, but I chose to put in my two cents since I'll be forgetting what it felt like to be a teenager soon.

well a phone is important for younger people for when the parent needs to contact there child you are right in a way, many kids just stick to the phone and swipe away on instagram all day or even tiktok, but every single thing in life is being simpled down and thrown into a way you can use said thing, on the iphone.. like watching a movie is too easy and cheaper now, and reading a book is much cheaper because of book subscription apps. if theres ANY type of entertainment, its been dummied down into the phones. so i think not giving a child an iphone is a blessing and a curse because its more addicting then crack but your gonna need a phone to call people
@acjo8975

@@christianjohnz I didn't get a phone until I was 16 and I wasn't allowed to get a smartphone until I started college which was only a few years ago (roughly pointing out my age so I don't get labeled as someone who doesn't understand the times because I'm too old or whatever). Phones are fairly new tech so it's a little weird to suggest that kids won't be OK if parents can't contact them 100% of the time all the time. This particular rule that my parents had (while I didn't appreciate it at the time) is one of the things I'm most grateful for now that I'm old enough to appreciate it.

You do not have the right to invade your child’s privacy and belongings especially past puberty, except under extreme circumstances, (like you have reason to believe they have been targeted by a sexual predator ect. and there are ways of going through it respectfully and with them, so as to avoid violating them. Destroying their trust in them is all the more damaging in time’s like this.)

Looks like he adopted Dave Chappelle's Physical comedy and Storytelling style, and aint nothing wrong with that, he pulls it off well.

To Kevin's defense, the kid should've said "the code is..." Instead of saying the phrase.

I'm trying to report it, but it's hard to do from out of country. You shouldn't get away with this shot because you're famous. If it's a joke, then social services won't find anything and noone will have to wonder again.
