Yeah you don't have to use a ton of weight to get the growth stimulus you need. On Leg Press Friday morning I put only 3 plates + 25 lb plates a side. The starting weight of the sled is 100 lbs. Did 12 reps first set. I'm only 126.0 lbs (I'm only 5'6"/167cm tall). Back when I was in the high 140s and fatter, I used to Leg Press 4 plates + 5lbs a side for 8 and 3 plates + 25 lbs a side for 3 sets of 12. Not sure if I had RIRs or not. I decided to stop at 12 because I didn't want to go right up to failure and have to re-rack the plates going to failure on the first set. It would add several minutes to my workout. But my quads were killing me. I was definitely close to failure for sure. Then on the second set I failed at 6. Then I had two sets of leg extensions. Both to failure. And the next day my quads are killing me. My back was also really sore yesterday from doing DB SLDLs and Weighted Hyperextensions.

Just take the secret juice 3 +3 and creatine then u can be like Incredible Hulk with plenty of bulk and no gas tank struggling to breathe.better off concentrating on core exercises functional strength and yoga u will live longer and be able to move around when u get older
